Ruby looked in awe at the precious gems around her though unlike hers they were all a pretty cyan color. Soon after ruby entered and scanned around she began to hear a few voices echo through the cave. The voices were faint, and not very recognizable, but she replied calmly and casually "Hello?" she said.

Spotspaw landed with a thud. Where was he? First he had been drinking from a quaint pond... and then he was here? Spotspaw pulled himself to his paws, giving his pelt a good shake. He automatically noticed other cats as his senses returned to him. Gem kits!
Crane turned around. "Oh, hi. Who are you two?" The silver tom curiously watched the two cats.
[align=center]After a while ruby noticed what looked like the silhouettes of other kits. "Are they also gem kits?" she wondered. Soon after coming closer one of them noticed her "Ruby, and you?" she mewed coolly once she noticed the purple gem on the kits for-head.

"Are you talking to me?" Spotspaw awkwardly shuffled his paws. "If you are, Spotspaw. Pleasure to meet you."
He waved his striped tail in greeting.
Crane smiled and dipped hos head. "I'm Crane! Pleased to meet both of you!" Meeting three cats in a day? This a miracle! he thought.
"Nice to meet you guys." she purred "I'm especially glad that I'm not the only gem kit here." Ruby came by closer and sat near them. "So how did you guys make it here?"
"I decided to do a little exploring," Crane answered. "So I snuck out and came here! Who ever knew a tunnel would lead here?"
[align=center]Ruby nodded in reply to his story, "I suppose I got lost." she mewed looking down at her paws. "But at least i found you guys!" she smiled looking on the lighter side.

Rosie padded around trying do figure out where she was hopping she could find something to do. She was still figuring her gem out. She couldn't figure out exactly why her Jewel did what it did and it was strange to her.

Spotspaw awkwardly shifted his weight. "Sooo... How'd you get those?" He pawed at the sparkling jewels embedded in the gem kit's foreheads. What an odd bunch.

Crane thought for a moment and shrugged. "I really don't know. I guess we're born with them," he simply replied.
[align=center] Ruby nodded towards Crane. "Not to long ago everyone I knew had one on their forehead. Some say they give us powers, but i don't know about that. she mewed. "Maybe it you get it when you're older?" she thought.
Echo noticed some kits talking, so she joined them. "Hi I'm Echo." She said her blue gem shined as the light hit it.

"Oh." Spotspaw cocked his head, which was swarming with thoughts. Maybe I could get one! The others would pay much more attention to me. He pushed away the thought, he didn't want to sound boastful in any way. But still, maybe they'd like him better then Orange(kit)paw back at home.
