    The ginger tabby cat smiled. She curled her oddly long tail around her forepaws. "I'm... I'm just glad you're back. I missed my brother." She admitted. "Never thought that I'd miss someone so annoying, but I guess anything is possible after all."

    Luna ran back in, pawing open Luka's cage and the others she could hear scrabbling around. She nodded to each one in turn. "The coast is clear. We can go."

    Her brother chuckled. Since the two of them were hiding on the roof, they had a great view of the sky. "I'm glad to be back, too." The brown tabby mewed wistfully. "I'm probably going to need a new name, huh? I don't like changing it, but calling myself 245 would be a little weird."

    "Come on--we can go!" Luna whispered softly. Her fur was normally fluffy and soft, but when she poked the cats gently with her right foreleg, it felt weird. There was a cast on it, but this Sylveon held no sign of fusion or being a Hybrid.

    Her young, kit like voice sounded confused, small. "I don't even know how I got here. I remember meeting a cat in the forest and I woke up here. That's how I got here--but how did you get here?" She asked them all, wondering. "And why were you in those metal cages?" Are trainers that cruel? Did I ever have a trainer? Why can't I remember anything about my past? Why am I so small? Why does my head hurt so much? Ugh...It's hard to breathe......I'm cold... The questions and her thoughts showed in her eyes and her breathing. Luna was sick; it was obvious. Her body was abnormally hot, as if she'd just finished bathing in the sun. But the sun had set not long ago. Luna was shivering; through her thick fur she was cold.

    Starpaw looked through the crack into the next room where she saw a cat being picked up out of its cage by a scientist and started walking towards the door she was at.

    "We could call you Bullet." Kindle suggested absentmindedly. "After that nice cat who helped me find you. Her name was something about guns, wasn't it?"

    "Come on, eat your mouse. It will be the first one you have ever had!" She said. And 445 was still weak so she needed to eat.

    Eclipse picked up storm. He had larger wings than her that could just about lift his weight. He glided up. "Hi!" he said to 445. "What is your name? Are you from the lab?"

    "Agreed." The ginger tabby kit nodded. Kindle closed her green eyes and let out a light sigh. "... I feel bad that we can't save everyone." She admitted to her brother. "I know that it's completely unrealistic to believe that we could save as many cats as we already did. But it's just not enough. It hurts to leave them all like that."

    Bullet shrugged. "I sorta know what you mean. But we need to get out of here, okay? Maybe one day, this stupid lab will get shut down for good. But that day isn't today. Let's go home, Kindle."
