    Emberclan was once known as Rootclan because of their many trees and long history in the land. But as the years passed the territory had begun to die, the two-legged destroyed most of the forest and polluted what little was left. Risingstar's father and leader before her knew that they could not stay in their forest for much longer. During the driest summer they had seen for moons a fire broke out, just outside of their camp. When they woke the entire forest was on fire. Barely anyone made it out, Risingstar's father died rescuing a kit from the nursery.


    The few survivors looked to Risingstar for guidance, in the clan's time of need she took control and they welcomed her as leader. The gang of cats searched for weeks for a suitable camp group and just before leaf-fall began they found their new home.

    Risingstar sat in her den looking out the window at the ground below, she smiled to herself proudly. The clan was beginning to look like a clan again. She stood up and arched her back, stretching. As she padded downstairs and outside she noticed how low the fresh kill pile was, she'll talk to Darkfeather about more hunting parties later. For the moment she would see if anyone needed her.

    Jadedheart,for once,wasn't actually with her sister,and simply wandered alone their camp,pacing it seemed.Who knew with her,though it was just like whatever.She paused every now and again,frowning to herself thoughtfully.At length,she stopped,blinking slightly at the leader in greeting,even though she said nothing.


    Meanwhile,the sound of scuffling was heard as the medicine cat lumbered out of her hole.It seemed to be that she was holding something in her mouth,and at length,she paused breifly to beckon her sister over.Together,they disappeared for a short while into the den,climbing out after a time when they had successfully taken inventory.Ish.Frowning to herself,Soulshard blinked a little at her leader,dipping her head slightly in mutual respect,but that was all.

    Icefang struggled to get out of her nest after one good nights rest and didn't have the heart to get up. Her green eyes flashed open when she saw the slight activity in camp and she let out a grunt as she struggled to get to her paws. Stretching, she arched her back and her jaws parted in a stunning yawn. She gracefully slid out of the den and into the morning sunlight.

He blink sleep away and looked around, tail flicking. He saw IceFang, and smiled. "IceFang!" He called, padding over.




    StoneWillow continued to sleep, chest rising and falling in time. His ears twitched several times, and he groggily opened his eyes. Light flooded into them, and he moaned and shut them again.

    Icefang glanced around camp trying to spot the warrior. Secretly, she hoped that she could go hunting with the deputy alone. She shook her head. She knew she was being selfish but couldn't help it.

    Jadedheart by chance happened to walk by the warriors den,just fresh out of the medicine den.With a neutral expression,she stopped by Darkfeather,not saying a word.She merely lifted an eyebrow curiously,as if to say,why do you have to be so loud?


    Upon following Jadedheart,Soulshard peeked around the corner,blinking at the sleeping figure of Stonewillow."Wake up!"the medicine cat inquired gruffly,edging her way around the soon be patrol and towards the warrior."Too much sleep isn't good for you."
