  • [align=center][color=white]The Master shrugged. "'Least I could do," he replied easily, starting to walk away. He turned back to them, a slightly off smile on his face. "...I would suggest staying away from the library," he said, before pivoting towards the forest.

  • "Darn it." Amanda said with a frown, crossing her arms. She had wanted to go to the library later, to check out her books and get new ones. She would always get two chapter books with Jade, finish them by the next week and return them. It was sort of like a normal routine for them. Jade nodded, showing that she was listening to him, "Okay, thank you again." Jade smiled, as she watched him walk off into the forest. 'Wait, why would he be going into the forest?'

  • [align=center][font=droid serif][color=white]As the Master made his way down to the woodland, he noticed how the creatures shifted, obviously uncomfortable with the Time Lord's presence. They tried to play it off, offering him a smile and waving.

    The Master wasn't buying it.

As he approached them with a small, unsteady smile, he watched how their ears flattened to their heads, how their eyes dilated ever so slightly.

  • So sorry! I thought I had replied!

Jade frowned as she watched the proffesor walked off towards the forest, before turning back towards Amanda and smiled,."Come on, eat up and we'll start heading back." As she said this, she handed her little sisters share of sandwiches, glancing towards the professor once more with a still confused glance.

  • [align=center][font=droid serif][color=white][It's fine!]
The Master narrowed his eyes, keeping his disconcerting smile until he reached the family, keeping a good distance from their hiding spot. Clasping his hands behind his back and fixing his smile to be more... pleasant, the Time Lord dipped his head in greeting. "Hello there. I'm the Master. And you seem to be rather... fixated on an object of interest," he said ever so lowly, his face fixed into a half-lidded smile. "Now, I usually wouldn't mind you if you were just eating some random child - oh, don't look so surprised. Your quantum lock is ages old. You should really take a page from the Weeping Angels' book. Oh! they're a sight to see. Now, where was I? Oh, yes. The girl. Right, well, I'm afraid you'll have to go elsewhere for your meal. You see, I'm quite interested in studying her, and I can't very well do that while she's in your digestive duct, now can we?"

  • (Weeping Angels! The funny part is, I'm watching Blink, right now.... This might be on my sisters acount,. Were trying something out..)

Jade couldn't help herself be her curious self as she thought about why exactly people had gone missing. Why the library. Why couldn't it have been the grocery store?

Maybe she could ask the proffesor later, if they were to see him again. They had been bumping into each other the past few days.

  • [align=center][color=white][Okay!
And, yeah that is pretty funny XD]
The creatures' confused face finally gave way to fear, and then angry. Taking a threatening step towards the Time Lord, the 'man' of the family gave a snarl. [font=chiller]"Do you think you scare us, human? We could tear you apart in mere minutes - destroy your liver and eat you. You are not our usual taste, but it'd have to to do for now..."
the Master gave a pleasant smile, tilting his head to the side.
"I'm afraid we have a simple case of miscomunication on our hands. You see, I'm not asking you to leave..."
he leaned in close, eyes sparking with an ancient and fiery anger that was not present on his face. "I'm ordering you to."

  • (Chiller! I used that in a horror chapter book that I was making in word. Sadly, I saved it on my flash drive that broke a week later....)

Amanda sat 'Chris-Cross-Applesauce on the blanket. Every so often, she could see Jade glancing over to where the professor walked to, where a family was standing at the edge of the forest. Amanda looked over as well, seeing a man --Who she supposed as the dad-- was standing face-to-face with the Professor.
    Were they having an argument?

  • [align=center][color=white][Aww, that stinks :(]
The man swallowed, then clenched his fists, taking a step back. [font=chiller]"... what are you?"
it asked, voice breaking at the question. The Master offered a small smile. "I am the lord of time, the master of space. And you... were just about to leave," he smiled. The 'man' tensed, clenching his teeth before taking a long, deep breath. Turning without another word, the man left. The rest of the family gave the Time Lord a cursory glance before they, too, left.

  • [align=center][font=droid serif][color=white][Cool! :3]

The Master sighed, rubbing the back of his neck and turning on his heels. "Guess that's that," he muttered, giving a yawn and starting back up the hill.

  • (Thanks! Low muse.

"Come on, let's go home." Jade said, as Amanda grabbed the blanket, and she grabbed the basket. Quiet once again, the pair walked back.

  • [align=center][font=droid serif][color=white][Same here ^^;]

The Master sighed, making his way towards the library. His deed here was done, an now all he had to do was find something to occupy his mind for the rest of the day.

  • [align=center][font=droid serif][color=white][Oh no! :o
And sure, a timeskip would be awesome :3]

  • [align=center][font=droid serif][color=white][Ahm... maybe the next day XD I dunno. Like, they could meet at the library or something, and then alien attacks could happen!]
