Who knew those two words could be used in one sentence? She was never bored. She always had something to do; but today? Nothing. Nada. Shaking her head and sighing, she rested her head on the first stair to her home. The wood was cold, though the sun was warm. She thought of stories, heat clashing with the cold in her body. She exhaled, wondering who would win the battle.

    Okay so Apollo was walking the woods, but that didn't mean anything right? It was just by fait he caught sight of his friend Hospitalkit. Quickly Apollo changed his route to her direction. His dark brown tabby fur was blowing faintly in the wind, and his blue eyes gazed into the heart of Hospitalkit. Lately Apollo felt himself becoming closer to her, but that was just a true friendship he supposed. Sneaking up on the cat, Apollo jumped up beside her and playful smaked her shoulder, "It's I! ApolloStar!"

    Apollo tried his best to straiten up his spine, he shot his tail in the air and brought his chin higher. He lied his ears back and narrowed his eyes. "You, Hospitalstar, have invaded Tidalclan territory!" His seriousness was tied in with giggles and his eyes showed happiness.

    Apollo laughed and fell over, "You got me!" he meowed laying on his back. Looking up he smiled at Hospitalkit. She's crazy, he thought, and I'm out of my mind!

    Apollo nodded and got up quickly. Shaking his fur the tom laid down against a log and looked up at the sky. "I'm glad were friends..." he said suddenly, "You're really important to me... I don't know what I'd do without you." His cheeks and ears suddenly started flaring, but he made himself feel less embarrassed by imagining his sister Hera.

Hospy's face steamed. A shaky laugh escaped her maw, before she sighed. He liked her? How? She was such a weird little kitten. The kitten didn't feel the same, but she felt grateful he had such feelings for her.

    He nodded. He wasn't sure if he liked her or not, but he was sure she was his best friend. Smiling he scooted towards Hospy.

    Gulping Apollo felt his heart skip a beat, "But maybe we can be a little more than 'just' good friends?" He looked over at her with his deep blue eyes. 1,000 years worth of memories reflected in them, and 1 million words could have been said in 1.5 seconds of looking at them. His right ear was tilted to the sky and clouds like the angels would do before leaving. His left claws worked at the ground as he awaited her response. His whiskers twitched as he remembered the day he met her. And in almost 1 minute, Apollo felt wanted.

She barely knew him... she was too young. She was only a kitten! Mama's words ran through her mind. Never fall in love with the tom if you don't truly love him back. Apollo was asking to date? Young love can be beautiful, but it can also be treacherous. More than just good friends. She was only four moons, she couldn't. She remained quiet though, gaze away from his.

    Apollo waited a bit before looking away, "I-im sorry..." he stuttered, "I know what your thinking..." blushing he cleared his mind. Why did he say that? He didn't love her but he liked her... Dating? No, he just wanted to know if they were going somewhere other than just friends. Maybe dating when they were apprentices... if they liked eachother.

    Apollo being as clueless as he was, ran over worriedly , and sat to her aid. Eyes narrowed in fear he asked if she was ok, after looking her over.

She loved to play with someone her age every once in awhile, even though Vanny was the best too.
