Cold looks over at the heard of elk. "alright. Sandstone and Silence. me, Konna, and Zero will find a weak elk and chase it to you." Konna nods, as Cold says that. Cold looks over to the big wolves, "you two are the strongest. it will be easy for you to take down a big elk."

Cold and Konna hide in the side of the meadow, opposite to the others. so when the two wolves chase the elk, all they have to do is chase it straight to the bigwolves. Konna peeks over the edge of the huge rock they're hiding behind, and sniffs. Cold sees an elk that looks like its limping, and nudges Konna pointing it out to her. Konna goes to chase it, but Cold stops her. they need to wait for the others.

Sandstone crawls low to the ground and goes to the other side so she is across the opening facing Silence. Her stomach grazing the ground as she lay in wait.

Cold feels the elk jerk, and fall a little. Konna snaps at the elk's back leg, and bites down with her back jaws. hard. she hears the crunch of its back leg bone braking. she feels bad for the thing, but hey! its food! the elk gives a jerk, and Konna sees that Cold is.... no... but.... but no..... thats impossible! he's riding the elk! Cold jumps off ,and over the elks head, as it falls. he crouches down and looks into its eyes to thank the elk for its life and for its meat. thank you, for giving your life to feed us.

Konna helps take down the elk. she looks over at Cold, and does the same. without this elk, they might not survive. Cold watches the elk die, and he can see its soul come up, and bow its head to him. he watches it run and climb up the sky. he feels a nudge in his side. it was a vision. not a sight.
