Mudstream looked for his kits in the apprentices den, without luck.

Runningsky padded next to mudstream. "whats wrong?"

Skypaw looked "ohh this is soo coool!" I wonder why my mom was so quiet to the world. SHe leaped forward into the bushes.

"I can't find the kits. Have you seen them?" Mudstream asked, worried.

Maypaw felt relieved with her sister's company. She made things feel less dangerous.

"no i haven't" she replied sad. She licked his ear.

Skypaw turned. " i smell a cat!" she leaped over to bugpaw.

Mudstream was frozen.

Skypaw jumped back into the group. "hmm" she laughed.

Maypaw felt reassured now, like nothing could stop them. Skypaw's humor and adventurous courage made Maypaw feel like they would surely succeed in their mission.

Skypaw looked and looked, she loved nature for sure!

Myapaw kept an eye out for any danger. She couldn't let any of her siblings or cousin get hurt.

Runningsky had looked all around camp, no apprentice..

Skypaw looked up " a hawk!" she yowled

Maypaw was frightened. She had barely any training, but she skidded to the side.

"its just a bird!"

Maypaw let out a sigh. "Skypaw... You really scared me there."
