  • "Ok. Let's go!" She meowed, clearly enthusiastic through her shining eyes. She hadn't eaten for a while, acouple of days if her memory served her correctly. Hunting with a clan cat, that's a first, she thought happily, maybe she could even learn some new techniques.

The landscape looked pretty barren, but there was sure to be some prey lurking nearby; hidden from onlookers.

  • Goldenmist set off into the forest, searching the air with her nose for the scent of prey. She quickly scented a fresh mouse scent close by and dropped into the hunter's crouch, stealth aiding her as she crept through the snow, light on her feet. She saw the animal moving and waited untill the right moment, then pounced, taking it by surpirse. She quickly killed the wriggling creature with one swift movement and held it triamphantly in her mouth.

  • "Nice catch!" Cocoa commented in a purr. She had watched her technique carefully, to see if their was anything she could improve on in her own skills. They hunted much the same, moreorless.

Inhaling deeply, she detected the scent of a vole. It was small, but enough for a good meal for Cocoa - though at this point, she wouldn't say no to any prey. She dropped into a hunting crouch and checked to make sure that she was approaching the vole from downwind. Twitching her ears with excitement, she prowled towards the vole, the delicious smell lingering on her nose.her paws tingled as she lept, paws first, towards the vole her sharp claws extended. She killed it quickly, though a little messily, digging her claws in before finishing it with a bite. This of course, would not alter it's taste.

She was eager to tuck in, but knew that Goldenmist was not allowed to eat yet and wondered what the etiquette was here. She took one bite tentativley, not wanting to gobble it down leaving Goldenmist nothing to do but watch with longing. It tasted better than anything she had ever tasted in her life, though this was probably because she was just so hungry.
