" Welcome to MissingClan, stranger. " You hear a voice emit from the bushes just behind you. Startled, you whip around. " I am in no-ones territory! " You call out defensively, as you speak the truth. You watch as a cat slips out of the bush with a smile. " I know. But your about half a tail-length from my borders. You lost? " The cat asks you, as you warily look around. With a gulp you reply. " Y-yes... I am. " The cat smiled and begins to walk towards, and past you. " Well then, you can either follow me, and join the Lost ones, or turn back and hope you find your way back to wherever you came from. Which will it be? "

I suppose if you have come this far, your considering joining. Wise choice. Here, let me introduce you to the ways of my clan and take a tour around. After that, if you do wish to join, I will bring you to the camp. Come now.
The Cats
- Like all Clans, we have the average ranks. Leader, Deputy, Warrior, etc etc. But we also have other ranks, such as Downlings. Here, let me explain.
* Leader *
That's me. I'm the Leader of the MissingClan. I have the usual duties you may already be accustomed to. Keeping the clan in order, dealing with the other clan leaders, choosing Deputy and Medicine cat. You know, the basics.
* Deputy *
My deputy is a very important position to uphold. It includes of organizing patrols, caring for the clan when and if I cannot at a certain time. The deputy also inherits my rank, if I die or retire from my position. The deputy position can always be revoked and given to another cat if necessary.
* Medicine Cat *
Our medicine cat keeps the clan alive. Unlike most clans, they can have a mate, as long as they have a apprentice that is fit and ready to take their place if they kit. Its different for males, they can have a mate whenever they want, with or without a apprentice.
* Medicine Cat Apprentice *
Medicine cat apprentice's are very crucial to the clan's survival. Since the full title is a little long, we usually just call them the MCA. Which is easy to remember, if you just remove the Y from YMCA. They are usually chosen at 8 moons old, rather than 6. That way they still have a bit of training for fighting. That and they are a bit more mature and orderly then a fresh out of kitten-hood cat.
* Chief Warriors *
Chief warriors are the warriors qualified to have a apprentice. Unlike most clans, warriors have to pass a test to be sure they are ready for such responsibility. They are also the only cats qualified to be deputy if the time comes. All new comers are set as a warrior until they are ready to take the test. Unless you proved the worth before you joined. For example saving a clan cat from a attack or from death. But even then the leader has the right to place you as a warrior.
* Warriors *
Warriors are usually the cats that are fresh out of apprentice-ship. They have lower authority than the Chief Warriors, and have yet to pass the test to become a CW. They protect the clan, along with the CW, but are not able to have a apprentice or become deputy at this rank.
* Apprentice *
A apprentice is a cat older than 6 moons, that has a mentor to train them. Once they turn 12 moons, they are allowed to take the test to see if they are ready to become a warrior. If they fail, they must train another 6 moons. Apprentices may not have mates until they become warriors. If they become pregnant, their kits will be taken away and they will have to be a downling for 3 moons.
* Downling *
A downling is a cat that decided to retire from their duties, and live on in peace with the elders. Sometimes, this rank is temporary, but most times, permanent until they become a elder. A cat may not be less than 8 years old to become a downling, and will become a elder at 15 Years.
* Elder *
A elder is a cat older that 15 moons who has either chosen to retire, or can no longer perform their duty as a warrior. The elder's have plenty of wisdom to spread, and once in a while its nice to sit down and listen to one of their wild stories. They may be far-fetched at times, but they have a point to them.
* Queens *
Our queens are very protective of their kits, some more than you'd expect. You must never interfere with a queen in her kit, that's clan law. Only the leader and Medicine Cats have the right to interfere if something goes amiss.
* Kits *
The kits are the youngest in the clan, and will only be proclaimed kits until 6 moons old, when they become a apprentice. They are to live in the nursery and with their queen's in peace. Only when it is safe are they able to venture from the nursery.

Clan Law's
- Every clan has their laws, more commonly known as the Warrior Code. To us, they are just Missing Law's. They are on a need-to-know basis as of 6 moons of age.
* The leader runs the clan, unless the Deputy is appointed to temporarily take charge. No other cat is to act like the leader.
* No warriors may have a apprentice until they become Cheif Warriors.
* Cats may not eat during a hunt, but may feed on small prey during patrols if needed. The clan comes first.
* Your life is bound to the clan, if you no longer wish to serve the clan, you will be driven out and banished.
* Mates are allowed from other clans, but if the couple wishes to have kits, they must make a choice on who joins which clan. If the mother has a litter while the mates are in separate clan's, a pact must be made for half the kits to join the opposite clan.
* Contact with rouges will not be tolerated, unless they are being driven out or is for clan business.
* Do not interfere with the birthing of a litter. If no medicine cat or MCA is present, get a leader or deputy straight away.
* You may not enter the nursery without the queen's permission.
* No anti-starclan cats are allowed in the clan. If there is one, you will be sought out and disbanded from the clan.

Territory
- Our territory is wide and vast. Although there are many dangers to it as well. In the territory are plenty of average prey you might find in ThunderClan and RiverClan.
* The River *
The river is one of the biggest landmarks in the territory. It flows a bit south, towards a small clan of rouges. We get cat mint and catnip from them, if needed. But for a price.
The River bends around the east and part of the south end of the territory. It is mostly surrounded by grasslands and cherry blossoms. Within the cherry blossom grove lays a old abandoned two-leg cabin. That's where the rouges are.
The River consists of plenty of fish, but also the nasty toxins and trash two-legs leave lying around. There is a muddy bank where plenty of frogs like to make their home at, along with a few ducks and turtles. Don't eat the turtles... it won't help anything at all.
* The Barn *
Just on the other side of the river lays a barn, just over a bridge not too far down from the rouge camp. Around winter, you can always count on a few mice, rats or even a owl setting up home there. Like the cabin, its abandoned, but there is a old dog that keeps visiting there sometimes. Best to avoid him, but if you do meet him, just remember he has a bad leg.
There's a lot of hay there and moss. We use the hay and moss for bedding sometimes, and to fix up the nursery if we have to. Plenty of plants grow in that area, along with apple tree's. We sometimes use the apples for target practice for the apprentices. Plus they attract lots of small critters looking for something to eat.
* The Meadow *
The meadow is rather small, but has plenty of deer. The wolf pack just a bit north of our border, and the meadow's edge feed from there. We avoid the meadow best we can, unless were very short on food. Rabbits and groundhogs live there, and sometimes are easy prey, since we barely hunt there.
* The Forest *
The forest is very thin, but light and pretty. There is plenty of small prey, but its best to avoid bears, and deer. Although they choose not to harm cats most of the time, they can still be dangerous. Snakes and badgers are the real dangers, but usually only slink around the borders of the territory. Racoons are a ally to us, as long as we provide them with strawberries and keep the willow tree outside of camp tidy so they can sleep.
* The Camp *
The camp is very pretty, despite the fact it is not very well hidden. Strawberry bushes line the camp border behind the Leader's den, opposite the entrance. The leader's den is under the large rock leaning against the stump, which we call the Meeting Stone. The den entrance is partly covered by moss, which we take down once it dies. It goes underneath a small stump, it opens into a pretty wide cavern, with rays of light from the entrance. Its very dry, and orphaned kits sleep there with the leader until a queen for them is found.
Near the camp entrance, it is surrounded by a tight-knit group of holly bushes. The holly bushes warp around the entire camp, and meet the strawberry bushes. The nursery is wrapped up in the thickest part of the strawberry bush, and allows them various quick escapes. Rays of light stream into the nursery and the queens find it quite pleasant.
Next to the nursery, in a pile of old stumps and logs is the Downling and Elders den. The entrance is delicate, but is easy to move and adjust if needed. It has a light slope down underground, and the roof is protected by roots of the willow tree just outside of camp. It is very large, and runs underneath the nursery as well as connects to it, so that grandparents may visit their younger kin.
Across the clearing, is the Deputy's den. Its entrance is just a dip in the ground, covered by leaves. It was a old rabbit hole, but is nice and roomy.
Next to the Deputy's den is the Medicine Cat Den. It is partly out the camp, but is guarded and protected all the same. The holly provides many very thick area's, and the medicine cat's den is hidden in the bush. A log is set there, so it may allow safe passage from the camp to the medicine den. The top is partly opened up, but not enough for birds to get in, so plenty of light is there. It has many area's underground for rooms for the ill and for herbs.
The apprentice and Warriors den, along with the Chief Warriors den, is next to the nursery and elder/downling den. It is on the surface, and acts much like a wolf den. It is a large cave, covered by stone and branches. It is very large, but does not interfere with the other two den's next to it.
