    She sat there for a long while, taking in deep breaths. What was Kaleb doing now? Had he gone back to his dorm? Was he calling the cops and telling them of the secret she had screamed at him? Would... Would Kaleb really tattle on her? She felt an aching pain stab her chest as she fell over onto her side, staring at the far wall.

    [font=arial]Kaleb had fallen into a dreamless, but restless sleep. He constantly tossed and turned, a permanent scowl gracing his once child-like complexion.

    She just lay on her floor for a couple of hours, unable to sit up, or move, or even cry anymore. So many thoughts were racing through her mind, too many. She couldn't grasp any of them.

    [font=arial]Kaleb woke up and stayed up. He couldn't take much longer with Luumas's hurt gaze burned in his mind. He got up and busted out of his dorm and sprinted down the halls, his eyes narrowed because he didn't have his glasses. After a long run, he skidded to a stop at the blue -haired girl's door and knocked gently.

    Luumas did not answer. She heard the knock, just didn't get up to answer the door. She remained on the floor of her room, curled up in a tight ball, knees hugged to her chest as she stared straight ahead with wide eyes. She didn't want to move ever again from where she lay.

    [font=arial]"Luumaw, it's Kaleb. Can I come in?" He asked quietly through the door. He ran his finger a through his hair in frustration with himself...

    Once again, no response. No sign of any living thing came from inside of her dorm. Luumas was laying completely silent on her floor, trying to shut Kaleb out of his thoughts, but was having a bit of a rough time with it.

    [font=arial]Panic now started to set in. "Luumas..I just want to help you! I...I don't know what else to do with myself..all I think about is you! You're loved, I promise." Kaleb cried, his hands on the door, trying to find anything for support.

    Still she did not answer. She simply refused to utter a word, or groan, or even yell at him to go away. She couldn't say anything, and could barely process his words. She was pretty sure she was going through some kind of breakdown, or was about to, or just had.

    [font=arial]Kaleb crouched down in front of the door, his head in his hands. "Please Luumas...just open the door." He whispered, tears sliding down his cheeks, a lump in his throat.

    One of her cat ears flicked, though she didn't reply or give even the slightest hint that she was even there. She just took a deep breath, closing her eyes and curling up into an even tighter ball.

    [font=arial]Kaleb rubbed his eyes, a ragged breath escaping from his lips. Was Luumas efen in there? He was getting scared that she may have...killed herself. And he just couldn't stand the thought of that...

    She finally sat up slowly, though only slumped back against her bedroom door as she gazed into the distance with such a blank, lifeless stare. She took a deep breath, then let it slowly out as she listened once more for Kaleb. He knew he could be in danger, but he came back for her, even though he was a big scaredy cat.

    [font=arial]One more time couldn't hurt... "Luumas? I know I'm probably getting on your nerves by now, if you're even in there..." His voice died out, more tears that he had already thought he had cried came out, and he covered his face with his hands once again...

    She stood up carefully, pausing a second as she looked around her room. She then walked over to her bed and sat down quietly, trying to still keep the precious silence. Her eyes were trained on her bedroom door, ears perked, listening carefully and intently for any other sign of Kaleb. Had he gone already, or was he still waiting for a reply?

    [font=arial]Kaleb let out a shaky breath, wiping the remainders of his tears away. Dread was starting to settle in the pit of his stomach like hot stones. His heart ache was excruciating, a scowl on his usually bright features.
