The Dark Rise is a story of the Dark Clan and how it came to be. These are the main characters, enjoy the upcoming story!!
This is a re-post since the last thread got locked. Probably from inactivity of both me and the thread. I do need a Editor for this, a editor that will be able to constantly be on, and ready to edit when needed. c:
I think I might add that this is not the Main Game Dark Clan the story is based around. I'm making my own dark clan, surrounding this story.

" Ha! Got you AshKit! "
All the kits were excited for later that day. AshHit, FlameKit, DeepKit, AngelKit and LionKit were about to become apprentices. LightStar was watching the kits as they wrestled, and wondered why AngelKit wasn't doing anything. AngelKit never played, and was a klutz when it came to chasing the leaves that flutter to the ground. LightStar did notice that FlameKit was the wildest of them all, and had her opinion on everything. She was friends with everyone, but LionKit seemed to have a problem with her. SpottedHeart, LightStars deputy, trotted into camp from the patrol from earlier that morning. The DarkClan had a larger territory than the other clans, so it took longer for patrols to protect the boarder, and usually they have to send out two patrols. SpottedHeart was a pale tortoise shell she-cat and was stronger than DarkTail, the biggest of the Tom-Cats. CinderPelt squeezed through the opening, with brambles and cuts in her light grey coat. TawneyPaw and FleetFoot were close behind, both holding a large rabbit together. SpottedHeart came to LightStar and began giving reports, on what? Nothing, LightStars gaze fell upon FlameKit and DeepKit, who always seemed to be together, and half the time babbled on and on about the most random subjects. Once, even of a squirrel chasing a sparrow.
" LightStar? Did you hear me? "
" Oh, my apologies Deputy, you were saying? "
" No worries LightStar, I was just saying the Northern Boarder's scent was very faint, and we had to re-mark it."
LightStar's pale coat looked like a sunset, making the young She-Cat look more desirable to DarkTail. It was time for the ceremony. LightStar sighed, she was new to this, after LostStar was killed only a few weeks ago. This was her first apprentice Ceremony. But she knew what to do.
The clan gathered as LightStar called, the kittens due for their mentors sprinted onto the rock they all knew so well. Their mothers were close behind. Most of their fathers were either dead, or unknown. FlameKit whispered to her friends about how funny ThickPelt looked from up here with his poofy coat. All her friends laughed, except for LionKit, he glared at her, why?
" Whats your problem FlameKit? " LionKit stared intently at her, no laughter, no happiness to be found in hid deep brown eyes.
" Me? Whats your problem? " FlameKit snapped back, she was ready to win this battle.
" Because for all I know, ThickPelt could be my father, and I his kin! Thats my problem! You don't know what it feels like to not know who your father is! " LionKit looked at FlameKit again, and turned away. " At least you know your father, and that he's dead. Instead of not knowing anything at all. Its different. "
" Im sorry LionKit... I had no idea. " FlameKit moved closer to the near crying LionKit, and buried her head into his fluffy kitten coat. They rested their heads on each others shoulder, all hatred vanished.
" Hey DeepKit, looks like you got some competition. " AngelKit whispered to DeepKit, no one else hearing. She had noticed that DeepKit had feelings for FlameKit, only she knew. DeepKit and FlameKit were like a couple, protecting each other in anyway possible, fighting their ridiculous small fights.
" AngelKit, shes just a friend. "
" Sure DeepKit, you keep believing that, you wont get too far. "
" FlameKit? Your up darling! " FlameKits mother looked down and smiled, LightFoot had the prettiest smile, and was the best hunter too.
" Oh, okay. " FlameKit looked at LionKit again, and kissed him on his forehead. He looked startled, and FlameKit just smiled and turned. The other kittens jaw's dropped, like they just saw a flying badger, shock and horror.
" ForestFoot, you will be FlamePaws mentor. " ForestFoot looked at the little apprentice, she had fire in her. She was strong, willing and he could feel that she would be the best Warrior he has ever trained. They were so different, ForestFoot was a brown tabby with calico feet. She was a plain pelt. They touched noses, and LionKit came up, FlamePaw smiled happily, and LionKit smiled back.
" What going on? " AngelKit asked.
" What do you think you snowball? The ceremony, duh. " AshKit looked at her sister in a funny way.
" No duh you pile of dirt! I meant with LionKi-Paw and FlamePaw. " AngelKit shook her head as DarkPelt was appointed LionPaws mentor, how much they looked alike, how similar their temperaments were.
" LionKiPaw? Haha! You got his name wrong! Its LionKit! " AngelKit looked at her sister, beaming, for her mistake.
" His name is LionPAW, not LionKit. " This argument went on, until DeepPaw had his mentor, SilverHeart, a silver tabby she-cat. AngelPaw's mentor was DuskHeart, a dark tan tom, with too much pride to go around. AshPaw, she had the best Mentor of them all. LightHeart, a brown tabby she-cat, who was also the best fighter, and all the toms fell at her feet.
" Hey LionPaw... um about that kiss, I--" FlamePaw couldn't finish her sentence, LionPaw tackled her to the ground and kissed her, and she kissed right back.
A few moons later, the five friends got back together, after a long training day. They all gathered at the fresh-kill pile, and munched. This was the first time they had gotten to actually hang out after their apprenticeship, and things were a bit awkward. Flamepaw still remembered the day she kissed Lionpaw, though he had returned to hating her. She frowned as he didn't utter a single word.
" Flamepaw? " Deeppaw said, looking at her, sadly. " Is something wrong? "
The others looked at her, but not Lionpaw. She shook her head. " I'm fine, just distracted, thats all. "
" If you say so. " Angelpaw said, turning back to her conversation with the others.
" I guess time really does tear cats apart. " Flamepaw thought to herself. It had only been three moons. Yet, it was like they were only just meeting.
" Deeppaw, remember that one time when Flamepaw ki-" Ashpaw was interrupted by Lionpaw jumping on her, and snarling. He got off her chest, and went to the apprentice den, flicking his tail back and forth.
" Ill go talk to him. " Deeppaw said. He was the only one that ever talked to Lionpaw anymore. He was the only one that kept the friends together. After the two toms left, the she-cats got up, and left, going their own way once again.
Part Two
FlamePaw sat at the river, gazing at her reflection. Tears formed in her delicate eyes, flashbacks of LionPaw being so angry flying through her mind. DeepPaw and the other she's were out hunting, but FlamePaw stayed behind, only to sneak off and be alone. It wasn't a rare thing. Not anymore. DeepPaw hated the idea of her being alone, off in the woods. FlamePaw shook the thoughts from her head, sending her tears into the water, causing ripples over the crystal water. Her breath became shaky as she realized she wasn't alone. She glared into the water, now trying to stop the tears.
" I'm sorry, FlamePaw. " Flamepaw looked up, recognizing the voice.
" LionPaw... you did nothing wrong. I-"
" No, I did. Do you want me to spell it out? " LionPaw interrupted her, now moving to sit next to FlamePaw. " FlamePaw, I know you like me an-"
" What? LionPaw that kiss was moons ago. I-I don't like you like that. Not anymore. " FlamePaw returned the interruption, now looking at him. Tears stung her eyes again, looking back at the water.
" Then I guess... I-I don't hate you, FlamePaw. Your a good friend and I... Your not making this very easy, with your crying. " LionPaw said, sitting next to her, their pelts brushing.
" I'm sorry. " Flamepaw said, now burying her head into his soft grey pelt.
" I have to tell you something, and your not going to like it. " LionPaw looked at FlamePaw, studying her brown and white pelt. " I-I... no, nevermind. It can wait. "
" Okay, SilverHeart. Can I go find FlamePaw now? " DeepPaw asked, dropping a squirrel at his mentor's feet.
" One more squirrel, and you can go find your girlfriend. " SilverHeart said with a sigh.
" She's not my... okay, okay. One more squirrel. " DeepPaw said, running after AshPaw and AngelPaw.
" Hey, Ange. You seem kinda off today, like your in your own world. Something wrong? " AskPaw asked, as the three tromped through the woods.
" I'm fine, AshPaw, and my name isn't Ange. Its AngelPaw. " AngelPaw looked at her dark pelted sister in annoyance.
" I think I'm going to go to the river. " DeepPaw looked at the sisters, feeling very awkward. He looked away, and bounded towards the River, just as he said. As he saw the river, he caught scent of FlamePaw. Excited, he followed her scent a bit, only to see the grey tom next to her. " LionPaw. " He grumbled irritably.
FlamePaw looked up to LionPaw. She had just lied to him. She loved him, and she didn't doubt that. She led her ice blue eyes to gaze into his brown ones, as he did the same. She felt her heart leap, as LionPaw leaned towards her. FlamePaw was surprised that he was going for a kiss, but was more surprised to hear DeepPaw call out LionPaw's name.
" DeepPaw! " FlamePaw said, as she whipped around to see him.
" LionPaw, what the hell are you thinking? Kissing FlamePaw like that. " DeepPaw said, glaring at LionPaw. " Your dating AngelPaw! "
" What? " FlamePaw asked, stepping backwards. " Is that what you were going to tell me? Why would you try to kiss me? "
" FlamePaw, I- " He stopped abruptly, as Falempaw took a shy step back.
" FlamePaw! " DeepPaw called out, seconds before FlamePaw went crashing into the River.
" No! " LionPaw bounded to the edge of the bank, searching for the brown she-cat. " I don't see her. She isn't surfacing!"
