    [font=veranda]"W3'll go now." Ravenn said, and had made up his mind. They'd go see Yeijen then.

  • Assuming Lil'Big Man in Charge wasn't booked, or on break. He couldn't always just shove people aside just for you, Ravenna. But it was worth a shot, right.

    Metthe nodded at his father, and allowed him out first.

    "Age before beauty," he said in a feeble attempt at a joke.

    [font=veranda]Ravenn shot him a glance back and ruffled Metthe's hair, and opened the passenger side of his car and silently insisted that he drive Metthe to Meditask.

    [font=veranda]Ravenn texted Yeijen before they got there so that he expected them when they came to him.

  • When they arrived, Jen was waiting, now equipped with a sleek black cane with a silver python's head with emeralds set as the eyes for the handle, and he leaned on it significantly.

    [font=veranda]Ravenn stood a little behind Metthe and explained simply to Yeijen why they were there.

    [font=veranda]Ravenna sat in the room with them, sitting with his arms crossed and head sleepily rested against the wall behind his chair. He watched Metthe worriedly, though it might have seemed like he was just staring.
  • To conclude the pop-up appointment, after getting the answers he needed, Yeijen prescribed Metthe with antidepressants that were...stronger than Ravenna's. A good bit stronger.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px dashed white; text-align: center]

    [font=veranda]Ravenn patted Metthe on the back, ruffled his hair, thanked Yeijen and asked Metthe if he wanted him to drive him home.

    [font=veranda]Ravenn drove his son home, and kept glancing over at him through the whole ride. When they pulled into Metthe's driveway, Ravenn came inside Metthe's house with him... a place he had only been to once or twice.
    He helped him to whatever he was doing, got him a glass of water and asked him to take some of the antidepressants after they had been there for about 20 minutes or so.

  • There were family pictures along with pictures of himself and Theiaa all over the walls. Down one hall was cluttered with plastic wrapped furniture, and the heavy smell of house paint wafted from said corridor.

    What was down that way?

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px dashed white; text-align: center]

    [font=veranda]Ravenn peered into it curiously, "... ar3 you r3novating?"

  • The room was painted a soft lavender, and there was a box for a crib inside, and a little mobile, and other related items.

    "You could call it that," he answered, following him.

    [font=veranda]Ravenn recognized a nursery instantly. He glanced back at Metthe with eyebrows raised, "Ar3 you... planning on a kid?"

    [font=veranda]"W3ll... if thos3 pills don't h3lp, w3'll try som3thing 3ls3."
    Ravenn put his hands in his pockets. "Fath3rhood's an aw3som3 3xp3ri3nc3. You shouldn't miss out on any part in lif3... 3sp3cially not som3thing so gr3at."
