  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Aquas tilted his head. "What's your fault?" He whispered, sitting next to her. "You didn't do anything wrong." "I did," He thought, bit didn't say it.

  • "It's my fault that David is gone." She whispered, burying her face into the pillow. "I'm the worst sister ever."

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Aquas frowned. "No, don't start. You couldn't have done anything to prevent it. We're gonna get him back, remember? We just need to rest up first," He told her, rubbing her back.

  • "There was something to protect him. I could have prepared him." She muttered, her voice muffled by the pillow. "Besides, I won't be able to sleep. My madness is too overwhelming." She sighed, shifting my head that she would be able to see. "David probably told that b*stard demon that I'm highly unstable."

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Aquas sighed. "Well, if we leave now, they might be expecting us," He murmured. "You could be killed."

  • "I wouldn't worry about me. Black blood is like an armor. If I activate it, nothing can penetrate my skin." Elizaveta murmured, looking at him. "I fear for you, though."

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Aquas smiled sadly. "I would die before I let you do so," He murmured, not making eye contact as he rubbed relaxing circles on her back.

  • The slightest quiver of a smile reached her lips, but it didn't last long. "I would much rather you live than me." She murmured, her voice slowly trailing off as she fell asleep. Soon her breathing steadied and her eyes closed. One of her arms that was curled beside her slid off the cushion and hung off the edge.

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Aquas smiled gently. He slid a pillow under her head before he stood. The katana then kissed his meister's forehead once gently, and then headed up the stairs again.

  • Elizaveta shifted slightly when he kissed her forehead, but a tiny smile spread on her lips. She could hear him begin walking upstairs, for she was a light sleeper, and softly said, "Don't leave." Though she barely moved, she still managed to say it.

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Aquas turned around, thinking he had heard her speak. He smiled a little before walking back to her. He sat next to her on the couch, curling up to sleep.

  • Elizaveta brought her legs closer to her, so that he had more room to lay. She then fell back asleep. Her soul wavelengths were calm on the outside, but frantic and unstable underneath.

    Time skip?

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]That morning, Aquas shook in his sleep. "No... I'm not Blue Moon..." He protested, swatting at some unseen, grabbing hands. Sweat beaded on his forehead as he whimpered.

  • Elizaveta woke up to feel Aquas moving around. She sat up and looked over at him. Slowly she moved over to his side and grabbing his shoulders, trying to shake him awake.

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Aquas' eyes snapped open. He cried out, swinging his arm around and shoving Elizaveta away from him before he was fully aware that he was awake, thinking she was one of the foes from his dream. He gasped once he noticed it was her. "Elizaveta!" He exclaimed. "I'm sorry! Really sorry!"

  • Elizaveta caught his arm with her hand, only out of reflex. "Aquas, calm down." She said, looking at him. "It's alright, you didn't hurt me."

  • [align=center][font=papyrus][color=white]Aquas still shook a little, but the tension in his arm relaxed. "They were coming for me... People I trusted, like our classmates and Professor Stein..." He whimpered, gently taking his arm back.

  • Elizaveta lowered her arm as well, keeping her eyes on him. "It's alright, calm down." She muttered, rubbing his shoulder.
