Mistpaw needs a mentor!!!

    Ic: Mistpaw settled down beside Owleyes.

    Hi Owleyes!" Mistpaw meowed cheerfully. "What are we going to do today?" She asked.

    "Hunting!" Mistpaw replied. "But I don't know how to fight yet, cuz you haven't even given me one lesson."

    When i say a spar i mean that you just do whatever you feel is a good attack against me and i try and dodge it" she said "but if you want to hunt then we will hunt" she proclaimed

    "Ohh. I wanna learn to fight." With a amazing leap, she bowled Owleyes over.

    Owleyes contined the roll, so that she was on top "i will be critiquing you, remember." she grinned "that would of only worked on new apprentices who didnt know how to use an opponents power to their advantage, and you see how easy that was for me? If i am using your power to my advantage what does it mean if that was easy for me?" she riddled

    Mistpaw day up and tried to figure out what her mentor was saying. Then she nodded seriously. "It is not about the power you put into it, it's about your skills and speed." Mistpaw concluded with an understanding nod. "Can you teach me that move?" She mewed eagerly.

    Owleyes laughed and shook her head "thats not what i was getting at. If i used your strength to my gain, and i did that easily, that means your strong" she said nudging her apprentice "and yes its a move i can help you learn, but battle training is all about partnership, you will need to find another apprentice to train with" she said

    "Like Stormpaw?" Mistpaw asked. Owleyes had known that Stormpaw had a crush on mistpaw, but Mistpaw doesn't know yet.

    "OK." Mistpaw replied uncertain. "He'll beat me because I don't know any moves yet." Mistpaw fretted.

    Try your hardest, remember, he is bulky, heavy. Use it against him...plus im pretty sure he will be a little....distracted, you know him, that means you know his weak points. Words can hurt or stun just as much as a swipe" she said smiling

    Mistpaw was startled. Then, Cinderflight padded over with Stormpaw in front of him. "OK!" Cinderflight mewed, " let's let them begin their fight. "

    Mistpaw padded slowly beside he mentor.

    Cinderflight dud the same. The two stood in front of each other, waiting to fight.
