    nightshade had preferred to wait for creamkit to reply to the offer of becoming a physician apprentice before he offered his congratulations, a knowing smile playing on his face. he could have been where daisychains was now, but unlike what was expected, he had rejected the ranking he had been given and instead, the she-cat was chosen for the path that was clearly meant for her rather than him. so, instead he stayed silent, only calling out, "congratulations, aes sedai." he did not know the other tomcat very well but had chatted a few times, enough to be able to flash the newest physician assistant a smile.
    but when creamkit responded with an enthusiastic, if a bit stunned, response, he straightened his posture and purred, "and congratulations to you as well, creamkit." she was certailny eager to begin her training but then again, he could not exactly blame her. it must be exciting for her to have her dream fulfilled; he would not know.
