He barked in response, his tail lightly wagging as well. He was about as large as an apprentice, and his voice had gotten slightly deeper, though his eyes were the same and his smile too - Warm and friendly.

She had caught the question, trying to think carefully of a response. Kestrel didn't know much but in some way, that was a good thing, wasn't it? That way if she did somehow get chosen, she'd have more to learn! There she went, trying to be the most of an optimistic she possibly could, hopeful round eyes warming her features.

At least she was pretty sure the cobwebs part was but unfortunately, the squire hadn't heard the entire question to begin with. Feeling rather nervous as her stomach turned, the young female let out a bit of a squeak as she looked towards Bombshellblonde, hoping it'd be okay if she were to ask a question without raising her paw.
The petite blue tortoiseshell would speak in a rather nervous, shaky voice before managing to regain her calm composure, blinking dull gray eyes. "I know that, uh, Graphickit already gave an answer, but could the question maybe be repeated?" The female's voice was quiet as she spoke. Having just become a squire only little ago, she still did speak in that soft little tone and she might not grow out of that for a while. Or maybe it was just the situation. That sounded like the actual reason for her tone.

"T-Thanks Mom!" Fairykit squealed with delight. This was probably the loudest thing she had ever seen and also the most happiest moment of her life so far. She could get to learn how to heal instead of hunt. She was probably to late to be considered to get promoted but she really didn't care at all! The little white kit just wanted to learn some herbs and stuff. She waited to see what was going, like if they were being asked a question or pretending to heal someone.
