Something about the way she reacted felt wrong, but she couldn't pinpoint the feeling. How would she have reacted if the two mares had cornered her and told her then?     This building was not as big as Sugar Cube Corner, mainly because it was just a bakery. Without the second floor, Sugar Cube Corner would be just a bakery as well. The roof was not shaped like a pastry like most of the bakeries in town. The building had an old green paint scheme along the front, the paint chipping and fading as it stretched to the back of the building. It was not in the best shape, but it was still in a manageable state.


    "They ordered ten of these pies. We're gonna need to come back out 'ere at least twice." Applejack explained before opening the door, only to be greeted by the ringing of a dangling bell.


    "Applejack? Are you here to deliver the pie?" A deep toned stallion asked as he emerged at the door.

    "Y'all ordered ten pies, correct?" Applejack clarified, just in case she heard wrong before. The stallion nodded quickly before heading to the cart. Digging into his apron to pull out the required bits. Placing them on the front of the cart, he began unloading the purchased apple flavored pies. Assisting in the unloading, Applejack flicked her head toward the cart, signaling the pink mare to help.

    Taking the remaining pies, Applejack followed the two other ponies into the bakery.


    "You'll have to excuse to the silence. Not many ponies have come in today." The stallion said as they entered the building. Just like at Sugar Cube Corner, the dinning area was completely deserted. Why was everypony?


    "Do ya normally get this low of a visitor count?" Applejack decided to ask.


    "Not at all! I get plenty of business around this time of day." He replied, setting the pies he was carrying on display.
