    She looked at Roxie.

    ((oh ok..i just wanted to use my fiance's name :P ummm scott or something would work. or just anything :P)


    Lani wiggled her eyebrows at Roxie teasingly.

    (( Fiancée? How old are you? o.o How about Jet? I think it fits well.))


    Izzy looked to Lani (hehe you said LExi) and then back to Roxie.

    ((oops! i changed it xD and i'm almost 18 :) oooh i likes that name...its the name of one of my characters in another thing :P you can uses it))


    Lani stuck her tongue out and continued wiggling her eyebrows.

    "A good resturant I know thats a few miles away from here it's called Ajoutez la Perfection. Good food and great service" Roxie said as she finished the last of the curls "alright your done" she said with a smile

    "Okay!"She said excitedly walking to the bathroom mirror.
    "I love it! Every part!"She said smiling at the two girls.
    "This is going to be fun."She said as she walked to her back pack.

    Ooc: BUMP!


    Ic: Izzy slipped on her black heals and jacket to cover her wings.
    "Ready?"She asked as she grabbed the money and went to the window.

    Lani smiled and bounced up and down on her toes. "Yes! Let's go!" She squirmed with excitement, following the others.

    Izzy jumped out the window taking flight.


    (Heres what the guys look like! :P Tell me if you want me to switch out Jet. Ps. Derek looks a little younger than this guy ;) )

    (Oh and I think they should have wings.... Like Derek's father did expearements on him and then he got lonely being the only kid that could fly so his dad stole this kid Jet from Australia and put wings on his (When he was like a baby) and now Jet and Derek are best friends and they both hate his dad.)

    Lani jumped out after Izzy, stretching out her black wings and smiling slightly as she felt the familiar rush of being airborne. So what if I'm a freak of nature? She thought to herself. I can soar!


    OOC: ooooh that's a good idea! And haha I like him... :P

    She flew until she came to the place Roxie had described.
    She landed in a dark alley close by, tucked her wings away and then peaked out at the sidewalk.
    She stepped out feeling suddenly awkward, there were many people standing in line to get in.
    All dressed in suits and fancy dresses.


    Jet sat at the table next to his best friend, he was munching on a cracker as he waited for his food.
    He sighed, as he looked out the window at the street lamp.
    "Why does your dad insist we come with him to these dinners... hasn't he done enough to us to last us the rest of a life time..."He said in a bored tone as another old man came up to shake there hands.

    "So whats it like being the son of a brilliant scientist?"    The old man in the suit asked Derek.


    "It's the most horrible thing in the world..."Jet mumbled so that only Derek could hear.

    Lani landed right behind Izzy, so excited that she almost forgot to tuck in her wings. Luckily, she remembered just in time. She placed her hand on Izzy's shoulder and gave it a gentle, reassuring squeeze. "Don't worry, it'll be fine." She said, smiling at her friend. "You look spectacular, and you'll probably have a new boyfriend by the end of the night." She winked playfully, and then guided Izzy to a spot in line. "These places usually need reservations to get in." She said. "But just look sexy and flirt a bit and we'll get in." She had been here before, and knew exactly what to do.


    Derek elbowed Jet slightly, making sure no one else could see. "C'mon, you wanna get us locked up for a week?" He hissed. "If we don't behave, dad won't let us out in public anymore." He didn't mean to be rude to his best friend, he was just under major stress.
    Turning to the old man that was talking to him, Derek pasted on a fake smile. "Oh, it's a huge honor." He said. "Sometimes I can't believe it. It's like a dream."
    Or a nightmare. He thought silently.

    Izzy wasn't so sure about that but she stood in line just the same.
    Her mind wondered a bit to the hole boyfriend thing, she wasn't sure she wanted a 'new' one.
    They waited for a wile and soon enough they were the front of the line.


    Jet rolled his eyes and then turned to the window. He spotted the three girls and smirked.
    He elbowed Derek so we turn to see them.
    "Maybe it won't be such a bad night after all."He said with a slight smile.


    The old man hard of hearing didn't hear any of this. He just nodded and smiled then walked away after shaking their hands again.

    Lani walked up to the maitre'd and smiled, her eyes sparkling. "Hello, sir, I would like a table for three, please." She looked up at him through her thick eyelashes, hoping this would work. This man wasn't so young as the other one, but perhaps it would still work...
    "Do you have a reservation?" The man asked, scowling at her attempt to get in.


    Derek looked over and suddenly his heart stopped.
    Izzy...
    Without telling Jet what he was doing, Derek marched over to the girls, who seemed to be having a bit of trouble getting in.
    "Excuse me, sir," He said in a commanding voice. "But these young ladies are with me." He glared at the man, daring him to argue with son of one of the most brilliant scientists the world had ever seen. The man did not argue, and simply let the girls through.
    Derek gazed at Izzy. Did she remember him? Surely she must...

    Jet glared after him.
    -Sure get made at me for something and then just walk off.-He thought as he rolled his eyes.
    The next man was younger than the last, he shook Jets hand and smiled admiringly at him.
    Jet smiled back a bit creeped out by the man.


    Izzy looked at Derek with shock.
    Could it be? No... it couldn't...
    She looked away trying to remember, it was to hard.
    It was defiantly him... right?

    Lani smiled at Derek, grateful, yet confused as to why he was helping them. But then, seeing the way he looked at Izzy, it suddenly made sense. Oh...my...god. She thought. That's him. Izzy's scientist's son.


    Derek touched Izzy's arm slightly, reassuring himself that this was real, she was here. After so long...they were together again. "Izzy, it's me, Derek." He looked into her beautiful eyes, more familiar to him than anything else despite the length of time he had gone without gazing into them. "Do you remember?"

    Jet turned to see where his buddy had gone.
    "Psh cheater."He mumbled under his breath as he came up behind him.
    He was kidding of course.
    He then looked to Lani with a friendly smile.


    Izzy met his eyes, it was him.
    She wasn't sure what to do now.
    "How could I forget."She said with a smile.
    She then turned to Lani.
    "Lani this is Derek, Derek my friend Lani."She said in a friendly tone.


    (Ps. Izzy doesn't know he has wings. xP)

    Derek didn't even notice as Jet came up behind him. He had eyes only for Izzy. "I, um, I've missed you." He said quietly.
    He nodded to Lani politely. "Nice to meet you." He noticed that Lani was looking behind him, and then realized that Jet was there.
    "Oh, Izzy, Lani, this is my best friend Jet. Jet, this is Izzy and her friend Lani."


    Lani figured that Derek and Izzy would want to talk, so she went to stand over by Jet, giving Izzy the chance to walk somewhere with Derek if she wished. "Hello, Jet." She said, putting out her hand and smiling.
