    Lani paused, chewing her sandwitch slowly, thinking.
    "About a year now. Maybe 10 months?" She shook her head. "I'm not sure. I been jumping from place to place, getting everything I need the illegal way." She laughed. "Of course, I'm illegal to begin with, so nothing wrong with adding a few petty crimes to my record."

    "A scientist helped me, I was really young. I was in a flock but they were recently killed so I have been on my own for a little while" Roxie said

    "Wow a year?! An other flock? How many were there?"Izzy said looking at her in shock.
    She had stayed out for a year?
    That seamed like forever.
    "So whats the plan now?"She asked wondering what they would do.
    It seamed weird to just live here as though she were normal... as though her past was nothing.

    "The plan?" Lani shrugged. "I've never been much for plans. I'm kinda the free spirit type." She looked around at the others. "But I suppose we could make a plan if you want to? I just have one question...are we making a new flock? Like, joining together?"

    Lani nodded at Roxie. "Yup, that makes two of us." She turned her gaze to Izzy. "So that means that if anyone's gonna come up with a plan, it's gonna be you."

    "Five? wow sorry for your loss."She said looking at her with pity.
    "I don't see why not..."Izzy said looking them in the faces to see if they wanted this.
    Her making plans... it didn't seam like such a great idea...
    Sure she was good on her own but could she lead others?

    Lani smiled encouragingly, sensing Izzy's reluctance. "Yeah, sweet! I've never been part of a flock before. So Izzy, you're leader?" She suddenly blushed. "I mean, every flock needs a leader. And you are the one who kinda brought us all together..."

    Roxie smiled "it's alright where ever they are now it's probably better than being chased" Roxie said then saw Izzys expression "I''ll help you if you want"

    "I uh... er... If you guys want me to be flock leader... I guess I will."She said awkwardly as she stuffed another sandwich in her mouth.

    "Sweet!"
    Lani jumped up and gave Izzy an impulsive, rib-cracking hug. "I promise I'll do whatever I can to help!" She said excitedly, bouncing up and down. "I'm not good at plans, but if you need anything...well...I'm pretty good at, erm, borrowing things." She grinned wickedly.

    "Okay.."She chuckled as she patted Lanis back.
    "So we need a plan... We may bot have been chased much when we were by ourselves but now theres three of us... will be a greater target."She said looking at them both.

    Lani grinned and cracked her knuckles. "I can handle trouble, no worries. Although, it may be good to have some boys around..." She held her hands up defencively. "To protect us!"

    "Right... to protect us."Izzy chuckled with a wink at Lani.
    "Well the only trouble with that is I don't know any winged guys..."She said thinking hard about where they could pick up some more avian Americans.

    Lani grinned evilly. "Well, and maybe to provide some entertainment." She laughed. "Hey, maybe we could put out an ad in the paper! "Avian Americans males needed to entertain and protect three lonely females."
