"Either works for me" he said grinning. He did like Eddie more than a friend but didn't want to make him uncomfortable.

"Its okay with me you can choose" he said getting up and dusting off his pants and then said "cya at school" he smiled and started walking away.

As he left, he felt the feeling of solitude return. He expected it to feel good, but it didn't. Not this time. As he walked away, sadness began to drift over him. He grabbed his journal then stood up. He started to walk home. And for the first time he was excited to go to school.

Eddy walked into the school feeling good. He couldn't wait to Brennen. He waljed to his locker then did the combo.

Nrennen walked up to him and said "hey, what's up?" He smiled warmly at Eddie.

Eddy didnt know wheather to be happy or not. He just smiled. "I gave it a lot of thought and I've decided that
I want to be more than your friend." -
"Okay, great I was hoping you would say that" he said smiling a huge smile.

Eddy's cheeks turned red. He reached for his hand lightly grabbing it.

He squeezed his hand for a moment and said "I really.....really like you, a lot bdim glad that we can finally be friends well more than friends" he said trying to his the fact that he was blushing as well.

Eddy looked around. He saw people giggling and making kissing noises. Eddy pulled his hand away looking down at the ground.

Brennen saw them and walked up to them, he was athletic and was much bigger , stronger and taller then them. "If you feel like making fun of him why don't you make fun of me too! Huh? He's a person to and the real reason that you are making fun of him is because you're insecure about you're own flaws and are trying to draw attention off of them and onto others" he said to them

Eddy backed up against the lockers. He smiled seeing brennen defend him.

Brennen walked back to Eddie and said "I got to go to class. See ya after" he said and walked down the hall.

Eddy waved goodbye then walked to his class.
