Falconwing!?" He carefully padded to where he had heard the bang, and felt his paws fall from under him. He tumbled down the hill, but wipped around and dug his claws into the earth skidding himself to a halt. The pale grey tom slowly made his way down the hill, he could smell the reek of blood. "Falconwing?" He mewed pausing as he saw the limp body of his clanmate against a tree. "Falconwing!" Oh StarClan why are you doing this to us!? He bent down and grabbed her scruff. Luckily he was a bigger cat than her, so he was much heavier. He carried her up the hill carefully by her scruff, than lay her down at the top next to a fern bush. "Shadestar? Are you here? Falconwing is hurt and we need to get back to camp, but i'm not going without you!" He called. Ravenpcaw lapoped at Falconwing's wounds with gental strokes. "It's okay, we'll get you taken care of soon." She mewed. IC~Feathersoul perked her ears and crouched. "A wolf?" She whispered. "They usually don't come this far." Feathersoul noticed Nettleclaw, seeing if the Wolf saw him, its over. She had to do something. She narrowed her eyes at the wolf, ready to pounce. She then let out a call of battle and lunged into the air, landing on the wolf's back. She looked at Nettleclaw. "Run!" She yowled

Shadestar burst from the fog, bowling the wolf over. Snarling, she snapped at the wolf's ears and swiped at its muzzle.

Shadestar instead but into the wolf's own throat, smiling viciously as it tried to wiggle its way from her deadly grasp.

Falconwing stirred slightly. A strangled gasp escaped her and soon turned to violent coughing. She lifted her head and stared blearily around. Her vision swam, but she could faintly make out a wily shape through the fog. The scent hit her and made her fur bristle. Wolf. Falconwing stretched out her good front leg and dug her claws into the ground. Slowly, she started to haul herself forward. Agony flared through her and an excruciating wail escaped her.
The wolf perked its ears. The scent of blood rushed over him. He swiveled his head around to where the scent was coming from and saw its next target. A small cat had begun to drag itself away. The wolf narrowed his hungry golden eyes and prepared to strike, his bony frame clenching as he crouched.

IC~Feathersoul flew off of the wolf's back, but didn't give up. She leaped at it's face, attempting to blind it. She gasped as the wolf grabbed her and shook her like a rag doll, throwing her against a tree, crimson blood following.

The wolf hunched over with his head hanging low, a predatory stance. He drew his lips back in a fierce snarl before shaking the cats on him off. A blood chilling howl rose up from him as he glowered at the surrounding cats. The wolf's hunger-filled eyes passed over each in turn. He couldn't stop, couldn't give up. His hunger was too fierce, to the point where he would eat anything he could sink his teeth into. His bones protruded from his skin clearly and made him look even more wild in the eerie fog. The ravenous hunger in his stomach made his vision blur. The wolf growled viciously and prepared to lash at the first one that moved.

The wolf howled and lashed out with his massive paw. He smacked the pale grey cat in the side of the head and sent him sprawling. Jaws parted and hunger increasing, he ran his red tongue across his lips and crouched down. His muscles bunched under his dark pelt, ready to pounce. The wolf launched himself at the cat he had just batted away, his fangs glittering in the faint light as he prepared to kill.

The wolf was panting with the anticipation of a good meal. He drew his lips back, his teeth glinting, and prepared to sink his fangs into the cat's throat. A howl suddenly echoed through the trees. The wolf perked his ears and lifted his head. He threw his head back and answered the howl with his own. Bounding off into the fog, the wolf started to leave. He shot one last glare and snarl at the cats before turning and disappearing in the swirling clouds of mist.

Falconwing stared around for a moment. She took in a staggering breath and her eyes rolled back into her head. She slumped back to the ground, her head banging against an unseen tree root in the fog.
