    Periwinkle was down by the lake when it happened, right down the mountain. There was a huge rumbling sound, then piles of dirt, rock, and destroyed debris where sliding down the mountain, right at her.
    The deputy freaked, a cat couldn't run that fast, not even a cheetah! It was all she could do to try and get out of the way, yelling at others to move as she did so, stopping only to help someone along.
    She only had the chance to shove a cat forward when a heap of dirt hit her like a train, and the cat fell unconscious as dirt buried her alive.

    [justify]The ground rumbled underneath Jackpaw's paws as he padded back with a small mouthful of herbs from his lone gathering trip. At first, he thought little of it, until he saw dirt, rocks, and debris sliding down the mountain. Picking up his pace, the medicine cat apprentice found himself racing back towards the camp when he saw something being covered up by the dirt. It took a moment before he realized the golden pelt of a cheetah. "Periwinkle!" The tom cried out, letting the herbs drop from his mouth.[/justify]

    Crimsonocean was startled from her thoughts by the rumbling ground. The femme screeched, before dirt covered her. She choked on mud and debris, as she was buried.

    Mockingmirrors rushed to the scene. She'd been out in the forest, but at the sound of the rumbling, she'd come dashing to the camp. The femme had almost expected another earthquake, but instead found that there had been a landslide. Her blue orbs stretched wide. She would rush to her apprentice. "Is everyone alright?" she called.

    The gray wolf had been kind of wary of being near cliff faces ever since the earthquake had unleashed a mound of snow that had almost buried him, so he was far enough away to be out of danger, running a few lengths just to be safe from the pooling of the rubble. He was on his paws sprinting to the spot where Periwinkle had disappeared in a few seconds, nodding swiftly to Jackpaw as the apprentice used his larger limbs and weight to begin shifting some rock. Nature really seemed to hate the Covenant lately. Tesserpaw strained over some effort, hoping he'd remembered the spot correctly. Shifting in the wrong section really would have been awful.

    The cat struggled to regain conscious so she could switch bodies, she didn't need to die buried alive. When she did regain it, she forgot about her other body and struggled to dig up out of the dirt.

    Gasping, the black wolf darted over, digging her paws into the dirt. "Quick, we have to free her," Bleakwonder growled, glancing over at the others as she attempted to push away some rock and dirt.

    Crimsonocean could barely breathe - this mud was suffocating her. She let out a weak cry for help. Black was closing in on her vision. She was about to fall unconscious.

    Before she was aware of what had just occurred, Tenniscourt was running for her life forthwith. Where are the others? Her mind went amok, dust spores tainting her lunges. "Où êtes-vous les gars? Personne!" She exclaimed through a mouth full of grime, soot wreathing her eyelids.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]The horrifying sound of the rock avalanche made the cougar's heart lurch; what the fuck had they done to piss off whatever god there was!? Did someone do an unspeakable crime, upsetting the heavenly spirits? Oh man, something really had to be done. An investigation certainly had to go through under way.


    Leaping out of the way of some debris flinging straight towards him, the mountain lion sprinted straight towards where Crimsonocean seemed to be buried beneath. "STAY WITH ME, CRIMSONOCEAN!" The leader roared over the sound of crashing rocks, digging madly around the mud to at least loosen her up. And without further hesitation, Fangstar aimed to grab her scruff and rip her out of the caked up soil.

The deputy heaved herself onto the earth with the help of her clanmates, then looked around to check for anything she could help with.
    The sight of Fangstar digging at the ground caught her attention, and the domestic bounded over to help, her already bleeding, dirty paws digging next to his.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0][size=8]Cursing madly as a flying boulder sliced open his back leg, Virtus hopped around with his teeth grit, the movement sending sharp fingers of pain up his leg. "Son of a bitch." he swore under his breath.

    Bleakwonder turned in time to see Virtus cut open his back leg. "Uh, medic? We have an injury over here," the black wolf called out, turning her head to glance at Mockingmirrors and Jackpaw.

    kerala heard the rumbling before she ran, simply thinking that no-one was going to be hurt. the exploration division would check it out, right? but then the rushing of the cats and members. kerala had no choice but to follow. she ran towards the sound, watching as they gathered around periwinkle.


    kerala pushed through, staring at the deputy. she had to act fast. she pushed on a rock, but it was too heavy for her, and she was pretty sure it was making it worse. she decided to stay for comfort, trying her best to push through to her 'friend'.


    "come on, periwinkle. if you die, i'm going to fucking kill you." she hissed. not as comforting, but that was all she had.
