    IC: Maya nodded. "To Wharfton!" She cheered, a big smile on her face. "Let's go!" She skipped ahead, paying no mind to the heavy load she was carrying nor the events that were to come. Maya was worried to be going to a town where there were many more men, as the last year had no girls born at all.

    -I paused my stomach growled and i just so happened to be lucky enough to find a rabbit, I caught it and killed it easily with my throwing knives then started a small fire to cook it-

    Blade tried not to roll his eyes, as he was convinced this was a death trap. He made sure his rifle was loaded, and had his machete at the ready. He hummed a tune as they walked, clearly enjoying the outside. The farther they went the more contaminated the air was so he handed out those masks doctors wore over their mouth and nose during surgery. His dad had plenty of them for when they helped cows deliver their babies.
    Eventually they saw smoke rising a good distance away, indicating a fire. He felt his chest constrict, and tried not to think about his now ruined home.

    IC: Maya had been singing a light lullaby her father had sung to her before Blade handed her a mask. She pulled it on, eyeing the smoke that was rising a little bit away. "Let's check it out!" She sung, skipping ahead once again. "Hello!" She said, cheerfulness in her voice.

    -I paused as i heard the voices, throwing some water over the fire as i fed some of the rabbit to Silva-


    "Ummm..." I said as i stood up and waited for the people to come closer

    IC: Maya stepped a little closer, but the mask covered part of her face so the new girl wouldn't see all of her. Also to the point that her big hoodie covered her forehead and eyes. So, nobody could see her face. "Yes, you! Who are you?"

    Blade followed her, the bottom half of his face also covered. He shook his head, trying to keep the hair out of his eyes. He looked at the girl, then at the bird.

    Eva was glad to see that they weren't the only ones travelling alone out here. She was hesitant to approach the girl, but eyed the beautiful bird on her shoulder. Eva's hood was so floppy and big that it cast a shadow over her face that concealed most of it.

    Ariel was sleeping under a tree next to the shack. She had no dreams but was in darkness. Her breathing was slow, and her hair down. It was damp from sweat and she had a book in her lap.

    Blade stood there, waiting for someone to talk first. He sighed, offering a hand. "I'm Blade." he said, trying to mask his face with a friendly look.

    Blade put his hand back into his pocket when she ignored it and looked around. He would love to be anywhere other than here.

    -I paused and looked at them awkwardly then without a doubt stood up bravely as Silva gave a small cheerful screech at them-


    "I'm Fawn, Silva likes you so I'm guessing you're okay since she's usually good at telling others personalities" I said, giving Silva a playful bump on the wing, in which she returned it by giving me a bump on my neck with her forehead


    "So... what are you guys doing around here?-" I paused looking at the rabbit which was still almost totally intact except for its hide having been skinned and a piece of it having been stripped and given to Silva "-Do you want some rabbit?" I asked calmly


    (Srry for not having been on, I twisted my ankle like an idiot in Gym :\)

    -I paused as i heard something, I swung around and pointed to it-


    "Silva go" I said as another rabbit leaped from the bushes


    -Silva flew from my shoulder and dive bombed the rabbit, striking it in the head with her talons, delivering a killing blow, then picked it up and carried it back, dropping it in my hand and landing on my shoulder-


    "Good girl" I said and gave her a pat on the head in which she gave a small screech on joy then went silent

    [size=7pt]"No thanks," Eva repeated. "By the way, how long have you had the bird?" Eva suddenly felt at home with Fawn, even though she wasn't used to interacting with people she barely knew. It was probably the bird.[/size]

    "Never seen a hawk before?" I asked the boy, Blade "Her name's Silva, her nest was abandoned and all the eggs in it were smashed except for hers" I said and smiled "She's like family to me... she is family to me shes like a sister, or a best friend" I said softly and stripped another piece of rabbit meat with one of my knives


    -I gave the piece of meat to Silva, then cut myself some making sure to leave some if the others changed their minds, i sighed then put the rabbit meat into a sealed bag like thing then shoved that into my back-pack-


    "Hmm... about 4 or 5 years" I said softly "You can hold her if you like, she only bites people that hurt her or taunt her" I said and picked Silva up bringing it to the girl and held her out waiting for the girl to put her arm out
