    Smudge was curled up into a ball. He always slept late. He thought it gave him more energy. His necklace glowed and woke him up. "E-eevee..." He grumbled, batting at it. He got to his paws warily and strutted outside of the little bush, towards the path where trainers walked. He didn't go on the path, he just sat next to it and licked his black and white paw. He flicked his ear. He smelled something that wasn't right. It was human, but not a trainer. The opposite. A Pokemon hunter! The human walked onto the path, spotting the poor black and white Pokemon. He had a bow an arrow-Simple, but still deadly and painful. Smudge leaped into the bush, but it was too late. The hunter shot an arrow in his leg, injuring him. Smudge managed to get away, but had to limp now. "E-eevee, Eevee!" He shouted in pain. Maybe a trainer will walk by and heal me. Smudge thought. Making sure the unter was gone, he limped out of the bush, beside the trail and sat there, his injured leg sprawled outwards.

    @Solzette: Kivo is a Riolu. :)


    Kivo watched the Pokémon Hunter after the Eevee ran off. If there was something better than what a single Trainer can have in their bag, it was what a Pokémon Hunter may have. He balanced carefully on the tree branch above him, hooking his tail around it.
    Hunters never exactly scared him. Iko always said that they can never catch a Pokémon if they can't beat them. Even though that was rather obvious, his mentor's reinforcement strengthened his confidence.
    Carefully, he slipped his feet from the branch. His tail was wrapped tightly around the sturdy wood.

    Smudge looked at the human with big eyes. A tear rolled down his face. He couldn't help letting out tears from the pain throbbing in his leg. "E-eevee?" Smudge said weakly.
