Lilac was floating on her back in the water looking up at the sky. She was anxious to see it. She heard that this kind of eclipse only happens once around every 100 years or so.

"Look, there it is!" She pointed to the sky. The moon had begun to eclipse! She was too entranced by the eclipse to notice the water had turned a pearly white and started bubbling.

Kat looks up at the moon, and falls into a trance. Her blue eyes staring up at the creamy object in front of her. She feels the water start to bubble up, and the bubble coil themselves around her legs. "Wow.." She murmurs in awe.

"Hey guys...." Lilith started to panic about being encased in glowing bubbles, but then gave in to her curiousity as the bubbles began to swirl. She tried to kick her legs, to stay afloat, but she couldn't. She suddenly felt a tugging sensation in her feet, and looked down. She screamed, because instead of skin, she saw scales.

Lilac was mystified at the moon she didn't notice the water till Lillith screamed. "What? What is-" Her sentence fell short when she looked into the water. She was no longer kicking her legs they were now moving in unison. She looked closer and the light shown on multicoloured scales forming on her legs. She didn't scream just stared in horrified silence.

Katerina notices the bubbles and looks over at Lilith/Lilac, and sees that her legs are now a tail. "Oh my god!" She yells out, and feels her legs change, and stares down at her now long gold tail in awe.

"Guys... No one can know about this." She said tenatively. "But still, this is pretty freakin awesome."

When the shock died down Lilac couldn't help but smile. "Guys we're..." She didn't even say it for fear of sounding childish.

"Mermaids?" She finished. "Yeeeah, I can already tell this is gonna be a long summer."

Having been silent up until now, Charlie stared down blankly at her own tail before her gaze shifted to each of her friend's new tails in turn. Nodding slightly at Lilith's statement, her dark eyes glazed over in wonder and see. "Yeah...A long summer indeed.", she agreed blankly, her eyes still transfixed on the shimmering green tail that had took place of her legs.

Lilac looked around her group of friends. "Mermaids. Does that mean..." Lilac didn't finish just dove under the water. The normally blurry and eye stinging water was crystal clear and felt good on her eyes.

Ooc: should we be able to talk under water? Idk if we should be able to talk under water or just use hand signals or something.

After a second, Lilith dove under after Lilac. At first she questioned what she was feeling. Then she realized she was breathing water! She swam around, loving the freedom of no longer having to hold her breath and go back for air. -
OOC: I vote able to talk :) maybe through mind speak?
Lilac swam around in circles. She was smiling and didn't resurface for a while.

I think talking would be fun. :3 Plus it'd be harder to roleplay through gestures.
IC;Charlie grinned, diving beneath the surface and trying to get used to her new form of movement. Powerfully moving her tail up and down, she went flying beneath the water in a sudden best of speed. Laughing aloud, she continued to race around the cavern; occasionally running into something or someone.

Lilac raced around behind Charles. She moved her tail to send a rush of water at her. She was quite crazy at the moment with water flowing through her gills and she sped around the cavern.

Charlie was sent spinning in circles as the current Lilac had created twirled her around, the brunette laughing happily as she did so. Diving down deeper in to the cavern, she suddenly began to race upwards with several powerful motions of her tail. Skyrocketing out of the water, Charlie squealed happily and splashed back into the water.
