  • Fey glanced up, chuckling, "looks like they're hurrying to work on the toilets." She said, gazing back at the paper, "Daniel, how often do you take this trip?" She asked without lifting her gaze.

  • "Not since I left London last fall." Fey said, a sad smile on her face, "it's a shame now that I think about it... Never traveled since then, or before then, but I always watched Doctor Who and traveling shows." A smile flickered over her face, laughing softly, "honestly, it's stupid to think about but it's true."

  • Fey shrugged slightly, "Well.... I didn't have any family left in London, I needed a job, and I was told that the United States offered more of a chance of life than in England." She offered a little smile, "What about you? You're from Germany judging by your accent; why'd you come here?"

  • Daniel paused, "I...uh... my father and I moved to America with my cousin Ulrich and his family to start a paper company, but I don't really like paper... or my father...so yeah." In honesty, it was a much longer story that only he, Ulrich and his family, Daniel's mother and father, and Daniel knew.

  • Fey chuckled, "A paper company?" She asked, "Perhaps it's the same paper company that produced the paper that made me late, hm?" She smiled gently at Daniel and leaned back in the seat, breathing out as she closed her eyes, "I think the bathrooms are open; better hurry before one of your students beats you there."

  • Daniel got up and hurried to the bathroom and was greeted by a line of one...two...three people. He could wait. He had too.

  • Fey opened her eyes and laughed quietly at the fact that Daniel had to wait, shaking her head. A stewardess came by and offered Fey a drink, "Tea? Two creams and a sugar? Thank you." Fey paid the woman and sipped the beverage, smiling a little bit. She did miss London... but America was nice too.

  • Daniel finally got his turn, and was greeted by a foul odor in the restroom. He was as quick as possible, trying not to be stuck in the stench cabin longer than neccesary before washing his hands and going back to his seat.

  • Fey moved as Daniel returned, making sure her tea wasn't bumped, "The stewardess is coming back this way if you'd like anything to eat or drink." She said lightly, covering her mouth as she yawned, "Excuse me.... I'm still not used to the time difference here. I would have been getting ready to sleep at this time in London."

  • "Germany's only and hour difference from London," he said in what he hoped was some comfort. Maybe she'd go to sleep and it would be quiet...

  • Fey nodded slightly, "True." She murmured, yawning once again. The blonde settled in the seat and sipped her tea once more, "Do you drink tea in Germany?" She asked, "At three? Do you have a tea time, or is it only England?" By now it was clear that the small redhead was struggling to remain awake, her eyelids drooping.

  • Fey nodded a little bit, "Yeah, I'm fine. Tired is all. Not much sleep last night, and I woke up early so I could pick some stuff up...." She trailed off and nuzzled into the seat a bit more, her eyes closing, "I don't need to remain awake, right? I mean, seventeen kids to watch by yourself can be difficult, even while in a plane...."

  • Fey fell asleep after several silent minuets, her head resting against Daniel's shoulder as she sat there. A stewardess came by, "Sir, did you or your wife need anything?" She asked quietly, not realizing that Fey and Daniel were only traveling together as chaperons, not as a married couple.

  • "Wife?" he asked, "No, this is not my wife, far from it, I don't even know her!"
"I'm so sorry, sir, my apologies. Would you like something?"
"No," he said, "And neither would Fey...I mean, this random crazy woman who's sleeping on my shoulder."

  • Fey woke up several hours after that incident, yawning as she slowly sat up, "How long was I sleeping?" She asked, rubbing her eyes and yawning once more. Her tired, mismatched gaze rested on Daniel, not sure if he was even awake.
