Devil. Since she could remember, that had been her name; it was whispered about betwixt classmates and even her own parents. Aiden. He had been there since the beginning, watching over her. She has a gift, or what she may sometimes consider a curse to see things that no other human being ever could. Aiden is an entity connected to [name here] by an invisible ethereal cord, and is only able to wander so far from [name here], whilst [name here] is the only one capable of seeing or communicating with Aiden. Unbeknownst to [name here], Aiden is not just some ball of energy with a personality, but he is her stillborn twin brother, strangled by the umbilical cord within the womb. Because of him, [name here] has grown up in a rather turbulent life; in dark, shadowed corners, she witnesses dark spirits out to harm her. In the morning, she faces her father, who resents her for having an imaginary friend he refuses to acknowledge. Her mother loves her, but out of fear; having witnesses her fair share of chairs being rearranged and radios turning on without accord, she knows there is someone else there, and never fears to admit it. [name here] can't even seem to keep many friends, because all of her classmates know that weird things happen around her. Because of this, neighbours and 'friends' believe she is a case worth praying over, believing she is being followed by a demonic spirit. Due to thus, the family has moved countless times. Their newest move? The mountains of California, where a research facility has agreed to investigate the unnatural phenomenons that happen around [name here].

[name here] has moved to California, now in high school, and is also subject to many tests on a base facility paranormal department. Spending a lot of her time on base, the kids at school tend to look at her with wary eyes, and she is often tormented by bullying from both genders. And now, as summer approaches, things at home are escalating. [name here] has often avoided people, because whenever she tries to interact with other her age, bad things happen. Aiden acts in nefarious ways when so much as the slightest hint of dislike toward [name here] is shown, and has often resulted in girls and boys getting harmed. The one time she had a boyfriend and the first time he came over, Aiden made certain to scare him out of his big boy pants. And Aiden is now tormenting her parents, specifically her father.
