[color=white]"Hello, and welcome to the pack. We are a group of
what most others think of left overs, though it's not entirely true. We are made of lost and
straying dogs who need companions to survive. We look out for each other, and together,
form the pack of the untamed dogs."
[align=left][color=white]. beliefs and traditions
[color=white]The pack believes in an "ancient" dog named Schnize, pronounced Sn•ize, and a dog named Scorch. It was said that Schnize lead the pack through a terrible hurricane that had hit the dogs' camp way back. Truth betold, Scorch had sent the hurricane to get revenge on his brother, Schnize, when he was expelled from the pack. Luckily, every dog had lived to see the end of the wind thrash. Now, every 10 moons, the dogs will travel to the Black River, named from it's black, rushing water. They leave an offering, which the next day disappears. It is said that if you have done good deeds for the pack, you will live a peaceful life in the afterworld with Schnize. But if you have done damage and lived a life of a rebel, you will be punished on your death and sent to Scorch's paws in the underworld.
[color=white]. heritages / natural abilities
[color=white]The pack has lean but strong muscles. They are swift and fast runners, though at the same time are strong and vicous. With their speed, they can easily outrun any predator or catch any prey. They have sharp teeth that make it easier to tear their food, aswell as using them to threaten their rivals. These dogs usually have a strong nose that helps them detect far away scents.

[color=white]we normally prey on any smaller rodent than us. Rabbits, mice/rats, the casual birds, etc. Sometimes, if the dogs works together and are old enough, they may be able to team on a bear or any larger creature.
[color=white]. the seasons && effects
[color=white]Their are four seasons, Winter, Spring, Fall, and Summer. The pack leaves it as it's named. Every time Winter comes by, Scorch make the trees loose their leaves and the ground die and wither to an ashy grey. Food is scarce around this season. Following, Spring makes the burnt grass lush and a seasonal green once more, luring the prey out from their dens. Summer makes it's entrance and warms the cool air. The hot temperature sizzles away as Fall swings by, bringing the mild wind with it. The trees drop their leaves, hiding mice and small prey.

[color=white]the pack lives in a large dense forest, dotted with rocks, on the outskirts of twoleg territory. There's a large mountain on the East side of the twoleg's territory that has a hole carved within it, a few feet above ground level. That is the camp. It is surrounded by a rushing river, sparkling and blue. Goinging directly forward when exiting the camp, you will see a small shrivel of black. That there is the Black River. When getting up close, you will notice it is larger than when viewing from the camp entrance.

[color=white]the camp is a large hole carved in a stony mountain side. The entrance though is much smaller and thinner, like a tunnel, though big enough so you don't have to crouch to get through. The camp is dimly lighted by holes engraved in the wall, which was slightly "weaved" with strong twigs and branches to ensure safety to the pack. Inside the camp is solid flat stone. On the left from the entrance you will see three holes in the wall. The closest one to the entrance is where the To-be's sleep. The cave next to it is where the Hounds sleep, and the cave next to that is the retireds' den. The hound's den is larger than the to-be's den, though the retireds' den are slightly larger than the hounds or the to-be's dens. Across from that wall lies two more em carved tunnels. The one closest to the entrance is the healer and the healer's apprentice's den, while the one farther away is the nursery. At the back wall, straight ahead when entering the camp, you will see three large rocks, stacked and balanced, leaving a hole underneath. In that hole is where the deputy sleeps. The hole in the wall above the stacked stones is where the leader sleeps. The pile of large smooth stones is called the Rock Pile. It is where the leader calls for the pack.

[color=white]>>leader
[i]the leader, well, as it says, leads the pack. They make important decisions and is like the "boss". Every ten moons, the leader brings the clan to the Black River to leave offerings to Schnize.
>>deputy
the deputy is the leader's assistant / shadow. They follow the leader and have voice in important decisions. They are usually by the leader's side. The deputy organizes the patrols and watches over the camp when the leader cannot. They stay behind with the mothers, pups, and retireds when the rest of the pack go to the Black River. They also become leader when the current has died.
>>healer
the healer is in charge of the camp and pack's health. They use herbs and whatnot to make sure everyone is in good shape. They teach their assistant the ways of being a healer. This is pretty self explanatory. In clan ways, they would call this a medicine cat.
>>healer's assistant
the healer's assistant helps the healer with creating herbs and helping the clan. They learn the ways of being a healer and when the healer retires or dies, the assistant takes over their job.
>>hounds
the hounds are, in clan terms, the warriors. They hunt and feed the clan, aswell as patrol and fight. They protect the clan and are a vital source for survival.
>>to-be's
the to-be's are in clan terms, the apprentices. They learn the ways to be a hound to serve their pack. They learn to hunt and fight as well as protect their clan. To-be's will be upgraded up to a hound once their mentors believe that they have truly learn the ways of the pack.
>>retireds
the retireds are like the elders. They have served their clan through many moons and have retired. Dogs usually become a retired when either they have aged to where they are unable to fight/hunt, requested to be a retired, or any other reasons.
>>mothers
the mothers are similar to the queens. They are considered a mother when either they are giving birth, decide to stay a mother, or want to help care for the pups. They stay in the nursery.
>>pups
the pups are like the kits of a clan. When they are born, they stay in the nursery with the mothers until they reach six moons.
