  • "I would love to help, but I think I'd just get in the way," Irma declined.

OOC: Who should go? I know I'm gonna take Kurt.

  • OOC: I was thinking a lot of the main characters, maybe some of our more experienced OC's. Scott, Jean, Kurt, maybe Kitty. She might be helpful for getting Morgan out. I kind of want to something with Ann, but with Jean going I don't know if there's any reason for her to go.

IC: "Alright," Jean said, and then turned to the professor again. "We'll have her back soon." She left as he nodded.

  • OOC: I don't think I have any experience OCs yet. You'll have to decide whether you want Ann to come or not.

    IC:
The rescue team got ready and boarded the X-jet before flying off towards the Hydra base in Germany(I'm assuming that's where it is, considering Hydra was a German run place during WWII according to Captain America).

OOC: Lame post, I know. But I can't think of anything else to do at the moment.

  • OOC: Nah, I won't have her come.

IC:"So... what's hydra again?" Kitty asked, breaking the silence that had fell over the jet. "And why do they have Mogan?" she hated sounding like the clueless person, but she really didn't know.

OOC: That's alright. My post is just random crap too.

  • OOC: I did some quick research on Hydra. Hydra has lots of bases. I don't know if this one should be in Germany... I can't quite decide cuz it could... It'd make sense for it to be at either place...

Scott answered, "I'm not completely sure, but I know they want world domination. That's enough to know they're enemies."

OOC: Okay, I'll just leave it at that for now, cuz I'm getting frustrated with trying to figure out some little details.

  • OOC: Alright. Let's not have the base in Germany. It doesn't really make sense to take them all the way there if they're a worldwide thing.

    IC: "Hmm," Kitty muttered.

OOC: Aw, lame post. I have no idea what else to do, until we figure out these things.

  • OOC: Okay, so they're at a base in America then. We'll say it's underground so it's more secret.

    IC:
"It shouldn't take us too long to get there," Scott announced.
After little over an hour, they approached the coordinates the professor had given them. However, there was not much to be seen in the area.
"Uh, Scott," Kurt began. "Are jou sure zis is ze right place? Zere seems to be nozing here but trees."

  • "This is the right place," Jean said, answering for Scott. She thought about it for a moment. "I doubt Hydra's going to build a base out in the open where everyone can see," she muttered.

  • "It must be," Jean agreed.
"Then that just might be the door," Kitty said, pointing at a small building half buried in a hill.

OOC: I'm trying to think, would Jean be able to sense the people in the base? I've got one too many things on my mind and it's all jumbled up.

  • OOC: Maybe. I've been trying to decide that too.

    IC:
"And some guards too," Scott pointed out the two men in front of the door before adding, "Getting past them shouldn't be too hard."
"Vhat do ve do once ve're inside?"
"Jean will lead us to Morgan, then we bust her out of there."

  • OOC: I just accidentally posted nothing XD It got mad at me.

IC: "Let's go then," Jean said.

OOC: Have they landed yet? I almost had Jean leave, but I wasn't sure if they were on the ground. That would have been interesting if they weren't.

  • OOC: I didn't specifically say they landed, but you could have landed the ship too.

    IC:
Scott brought the ship to a clearing in the trees just large enough for the X-jet and far enough away to avoid being noticed.
"If everything goes right, it'll be quick in and quick out," Scott said. "Kurt, can you teleport us closer to the door?"
    "Yes sir," Kurt answered.
Everyone placed a hand on Kurt's shoulders as he teleported them closer. It saved plenty of walking time. They ducked behind trees and bushes upon seeing the two guards standing by the door. Fortunately, the guards appeared bored as if nothing usually happened.
Scott placed his hand to the side of his head and adjusted his visor so he hit one of them with a blast powerful enough to knock him out. The other guard immediately jumped to attention and pointed his gun in their direction.

    OOC: Jean can do something.

  • OOC: Well, I wasn't sure if they had, and I didn't want to repeat something pointlessly. Why I didn't just look back at previous posts, I don't know. XD

IC: Jean reaacted, lifting the guard with her telechenisis. Panicking, he failed, and ended up dropping his gun. She slammed him into the wall of the bunker hard enough to knock him out but not hard enough to do any permanent damage.

OOC: You know, I have decided I prefer rping OC's. With the original characters, I'm not sure the limits of their powers, but with OC's, we define their limits.

  • With the door unguarded, the group rushed to approach it. Scott tried the handle, but found it expectedly locked.
"Kitty," Scott said. Then, jabbing his thumb at the door, added, "You're turn. You just need to unlock the door."

OOC: I know! You don't want to screw up the canon characters, but you still gotta use them. Once we get more OCs in, we'll probably rely on them more.

  • "Thanks." Scott tugged open the door as quietly at he could, although it squeaked a bit. "Jean, can you find Morgan?"

  • She nodded, and then closed her eyes for a couple seconds. Then she started down the hall, motioning for the group to follow her. As she had searched for Morgan, she had discovered the base was more complicated than she was expecting. She continued, avoiding guards she sensed, but they ran into a few as they walked. It took her a while, and but eventually they stopped in front of a cell door. "We don't have much time; there's a large group of guards heading this way," she informed them.

  • Scott instructed, "Kurt, distract the guards if you need to--"
"Because zere's nozing more distracting zan zis face," Kurt interrupted with a cheeky grin.
Scott continued, "Kitty, go get Morgan and we'll stay here in case anyone gets past Kurt."

  • "Right," Kitty agreed. She poked her head through the door. Morgan was slouched in one of the corners. Kitty stepped through the door, and approached Morgan. "Morgan?" she muttered. Morgan flinched visibly, and was on her feet in seconds, hate and fear written all over her face. Clearly she hadn't recognized Kitty's voice. She looked ready to attack. "It's alright," Kitty said, raising her hands.
Morgan relaxed. "Took you guys long enough," she muttered, trying to sound indifferent, but her voice wavered.
"Well, we're here now. Let's just go." Kitty motioned her to the door, then grabbed her arm and phased through the door.
