Zevi gave a low warning growl as his red eyes shone in the light. He was a few years younger than Criw and years of starvation had left him pretty short and he wasn't as vicious than other curs, but he had grown up in even harsher conditions than most curs and it meant he was very strong, much stronger than he looked and he was unrivaled in terms of speed. He was so fast that Kaleb had told him not to reveal it in public unless he absolutely had to.

Kyle looked over at Zevi for a moment then looked back at Ellie. "I'll make sure your found." He threatened and started walking off.
Ellie shook off her shock and watched her brother walk off.
-
" anything happens to Ellie, I'll make sure your found missing half your internal organs!" Zevi snarled to Kyle before he left
-
Ellie seemed a little dazed now, she tried to shake it off but it stuck with her. She held onto Kaleb's arm and sighed. She seemed a little scared now.
-
Kaleb wrapped his arms around Ellie, " we'll protect you." He told her
-
Ellie looked up at him and gave a little hesitant look. "I'm turning into a big problem."
-
" no you aren't. Don't think that. Your pack, so nothing is a problem when it comes to keeping you safe." Kaleb told her
-
Ellie looked up at him "Are you sure?" She said quietly. "Even if it hurts you?"
-
"yes, it would be exactly the same if Zevi was in danger and he'd feel the same if I was in danger." Kaleb replied
-
Ellie smiled slightly and hugged him tight. "I'm glad." She said quietly.
-
he smiled and hugged her back
-
Ellie soon pulled away with a smile. "I'm glad I have friends like you two."
-
"well, we are more loyal than high caste daimons." he commented
-
Ellie nodded in agreement. "I'm glad I ran into you."
-
he smiled, "I'm glad I ran into you too." He replied
-
Ellie smiled and gave him another hug before letting go. "What do we do, now?"
-
he shrugged slightly, "I dunno." He answered
-
Ellie thought for a moment "Could we venture around a little more?"
-
"of course, if that's what you want." He replied
-
Ellie nodded, walking around a little more.
