Yellowtail curled up around her kits. She dreamt of herself, being torn apart, by past and future. She awoke with a jolt, almost biting Brokenkit as her jaw opened to scent the air. She looked down at her son.

She walked off and got some thyme and some honey and returned to the nursery. "Eat this," she said, giving a little to YellowTail. She felt a pang of fear coming from deep inside her. Not again! she pleaded silently to StarClan. Ever sense she had watched OnyxLeaf die, she was feeling things deep inside her, like if a cat was in fear, she felt it.
