    " Thank you Serina managed to say. She gently grab the roasted meat wrapped in the dough. She ate slowly, her eyes looked at Miles. " You know the soldiers are searching for me she added

    Serin finished her meal and found a knife in her boot. She didn't unsheathed it, but kept it hidden. " Whats your name? She asked with a bored expression.

    " i guess it's a pleasure to meet you Serina sounded a bit cold. Her eyes examined him, there was something about him that doesn't add up. He was handsome, strong, his eyes were kind but he hid it with worried and anger.

    "I really have to sleep. But you could escape. And I can't let you escape. Because I need you. To pay my sisters' rent and put food in their mouths and mine. So I'm going to sit in here and lock the grate and you are going to sleep." Miles said. He held back a yawn with all his energy.

    " I could just give you Notes Serina replied and leaned against the wall. She couldn't sleep, maybe she could try to escape. She waited for Miles to go to sleep.

    Serina looked at Miles. " Just go to sleep She snapped at him. She then scotted away from him. " Great!, how am i going to escape without him sleeping or if he does, not to try to wake him up?

    Serina waited a few minutes later. She noticed he was asleep and slowly opened the grate. She closed it and made a ran for it. " Too easy She laughed in her mind she climbed a roof and jumped to another. It wasn't easy but she got use to it.

    Miles realized he had actually dozed off. He made a dash for his knife and ran out. He didn't bother to fight his emotions tears flew off his face and he ran against the wind. Anne and Lacey were having so much trouble with only Lacey working and no one to help Anne get better. They were as good as dead without this money. Where was Serina? He had to find her.

    Serina disappeared into the alleys. She laughed as she actually escape. She felt guilty too. " i shouldn't...i could save two poor girls life she said in her mind. She stayed where she was and waited to see if Miles will get her

    Miles had poor night vision but he made out a figure. He squinted and smiled as in moved towards a light. He threw his knife. It lodged in to her sleeve, pinning it to a wall.

    Serina growled. " You could of at least say something then ruin my sleeve She said frowning a Bit. She looked at Miles and said. " I was close of going back, because I felt guilty leaving, I figured I could save at least two girls She explained as she tried to take the knife out. Her arm had a little cut and it was bleeding.

    "Well, forgive me for not thinking you'd comply with my requests!" He snapped. He took back his knife and walked her towards the grate."

    " Go to sleep, you need to rest, you look exhausted Serina's voice sounded claming and sweet. She continued playing with her dagger and began to hum a little song, her mother sings to her before she sleeps, but that was when she was little.
