a tanned ivory, tesla's complexion is a bronzed form of her mother's signature pallor. fair and even, it offsets the brightness of her eyes and compliments them well. her cheeks are a natural, deep rose that glows whenever she laughs. there are small bags beneath each of tess' eyes thanks to countless all-nighters and drunken stupors that leave calling cards on her otherwise decent face.

Eyes:
tesla's eyeballs are a cool, arctic blue. they create a most impressive glare when put to the test, and can be, in fact, quite frightening when the young woman is angered. despite the coldness of her stare, tess' eyes express the emotions that are sometimes difficult for her to say out loud. love, compassion, and empathy are examples, all three of which she caged up with mental walls long ago, that only the 'windows to her soul' subconsciously tear down.

Hair:
black as night and raven's feathers, tess' hair is one of her star features. it is fairly long, reaching over halfway down her back, and is rarely lifeless or dull. she loves to play around with different styles, but usually sticks to keeping it down (whether straight or in voluminous, beachy waves) or at least half-up.

Height:
five feet, seven inches

Build:
slight with lean muscles; her shoulders are rather wide, as well as her hips, but she has remarkably small wrists and ankles

Marks & Scars:
tesla has multiple, small burn marks along her thighs and inner fore arms where she put out cigarettes (inflicted pre-rehab and she doesn't particularly enjoy talking about the topic)

Modifications:
tesla has multiple ear piercings, her favorite being the industrial piercing on her left ear x
she has two tattoos, one on her right wrist love will tear us apart x and the other on her chest So bright the flames burn in our hearts x

Clothing:
fashion is one of tess' favorite fields. she takes inspiration from classic punk rock/grunge style and icons like the wonderific taylor momsen.

her staples are long, oversized t-shirts; tight-fitting pants and leggings in bold prints; countless leather/military jackets; and worn out combat boots.

(somewhat blindingly) stubborn and strong-willed, insecure but hides behind sarcasm, adventurous and unafraid to speak up, selfless and willing to do anything for those she loves

Known for:
being the "goth," party girl_{*cough* slut *cough*}. tesla, around the age of sixteen, was admitted into a rehabilitation center for her so-called uncontrollable partying (esp. her provocative habits) and inflicting harm upon herself. she was estranged from her parents - particularly her mother - and was lost in a general sense of the phrase. when she resurfaced, however, her focus had done a complete one-eighty. she found music and singing as a way to release her pent-up demons, and more or less recovered. despite the obvious change in her ways, the media (and public) has never forgotten tess' great social suicide. some are still wary of believing that she's transformed into a better person, and it frustrates the young woman when people see nothing but her past self. nonetheless, she works day by day at reforming her public image.
