  • XD I was thinking that we could rp what their lives are like for a while, and then we could time skip to when they meet. Should they get adopted now?

Ooc: She smiled at his comforting words and embraced him tightly. She closed her eyes, never wanting to leave his arms. She couldn't think of a reason why NOT to stop, so she just kept on hugging him.

I'm sorry, I know it's short, but I have low muse and I couldn't think of anything else to add.

  • [ Yes >:D And btw, idk of you know this already or not or f it's just a typo, but OOC means out of character and IC means in character. So you gotta switch those around xD ]

Xander felt his consciousness slipping g away with Sage cradled in his arms and his chin resting of the top of her head. It really would've been the perfect way to fall asleep—minus not having a mattress or anything—if not for a deep male voice yelling down for him. ALEXANDER!" He yelled, making Xander cringe not because he sounded threatening, but because he hated hearing his full name. Literally no one had called him that since first grade.
"Who the h*ll is that?" He whispered, cringing once again for foolishly letting that word slip in front of Sage like that. "S-sorry… force of habit…"

  • Oh my god, I can't believe I've been doing that!!! I'm so stupid!! XD

Sage looked out the window and let out a small gasp. "The...the...the grown ups!" She stuttered. "But...but they never come out!" Unless...Oh no." She said softly as tears welled up in her eyes. "Y-you're getting adopted." She said shakily, looking up at him with huge sad eyes. She stood up warily, glaring at the grown up standing on the ground. She had only seen him once before, when her parents were leaving the orphanage. "Wha...what am I going to do without you?!" She asked, suddenly panicked. She would once again be all alone, the girl with no friends and only her notebook. "Oh my god... I'll be stuck here forever." She murmered, pacing the short length of the tree house.

  • [ You're fine xDD Sorry for my later post btw lol! ]

Xander acted on the situation without any hesitation by jumping up to meet Sage in the middl other panic, trying his best to comfort her while going through with his plan. He wrapped his arm tightly around her waist while using the other to comb through her hair and pulled her backwards with him so that they couldn't be seen from the window. "Calm down, okay?" He pleaded with her, trying to keep his voice from, but all reassuring. "I'm not going anywhere, but I have a feeling if we don't go see what he wants, we'll be in worse trouble then if we got caught escaping." I offered a soft laugh then quickly leaned down to plant a sweet kiss on her lips as a promise that he would never leave her alone in this horrid place again. "If he tries to introduce me to some family that was to adopt me, I'll blow it and we can come right back up here, okay?"

  • "O-ok," She said, whimpering. She wanted it to be ok, but it wasn't. What the love of her lie didn't know, was that nearly all the people who come to adopt from StownTown Orphanage were abusive creeps, and would take any child they wished, even of the kid blew it. She took his hand, and shakily climbed down from the tree house. She stood in front of the horribly ugly, fat, smelly grown up in front of her. She pinched herself as a reminder that running, what she would usually do, wouldn't help in this situation. She sideways glanced at Xander, and clasped her hands behind her back. She then noticed the guy standing behind the grown up. He was wearing all black leather, and he wore chains and was pierced everywhere. Why can't it be me, she thought, instead of sweet Xander. She then cringed as her gaze swept over his pocket, where she could see a gun sticking out. She had to lock her knees to keep them from buckling. "S-so you wanted us?" She asked, her gaze fixed on the ground.

  • [ Have you ever had that moment when you're watching a show and then the actor/voice actor sounded so familiar, but you just couldn't tell who it was? ]

The guy looked down at Sage and practically snarled at her—which was an automatic no for Xander. "Not you." He stated, not even trying to hide the acid in his voice. Did he even know her name?! Xander wondered while he glared directly at the man before him. Obviously, the last thing he wanted was for Sage to be around him longer than she had to so he turned his head around and gave a slight nod to tell her to go back. Then he turned his gaze to the guy behind the supposed owner of this orphanage. Were either of them responsible enough to take care of… well… anything?! The pierced guy caught Xander staring his direction and gave him a crooked smile and probably noticed how similar they were dressed… Xander's black pants having chains looped down from them and a comfortable white shirt and solid black hair. The only differences would've been the multiple tattoos and piercings and… was that a gun?!
"So you're Alexander?" He spoke up after the other had left them alone in the doorway.
"It's just Xander." Xander corrected him cooly.
"Well then Xander," He went on, cracking his knuckles as he walked closer to Xander. "How'd a kid like you end up in a place like…" He gestured to the place around him with a wide smirk. "this?
    "What do you mean?"
'I've actually heard a lot about you, kid—"
Xander immediately stopped him. "I'm not a kid, I'm 14." but he ignored Xander's comment and went on.
"From someone pretty close to you, too." Who could this guy possible know that was close to him? "And man did you make a mistake cheating on my little sister." Suddenly, the gun that was previously tucked away in the man's pocket was now positioned right at Xander's forehead.

  • Bile rose in her throat as she reluctantly took a step back. She narrowed her eyes a bit at the man. Be brave, Sage, she told herself. Be brave for Xander. Her eyes widened a bit in surprise as she noticed the striking resemblance between the two. But Xander was different in personality, she could tell already, and the other man was violent and crazy. She would die if it meant saving Xander from this horrible monster. She rushed forward as the gun was put at Xander's head.

"Take me instead!" She cried trying hopelessly to persuade this man not to take Xander. "Don't you want me instead?" She brushed the hair out of her face, revealing to him that both of her eyes were not blue; they were mismatched. "P-please," She begged. "Just...just don't hurt him." She threw herself in front of Xander in a protective way, only he could bring out the lovingness and the protectiveness in her.

  • Xander's mouth was gaping open at Sage's sudden act of bravery, but even so, whatever she thought she would accomplish by standing up to this guy was proven in vain when he only started to laugh. "Sorry chica," He snickered, Xander was fuming just from this guy talking to her like that, but what he had to say next caught him completely off guard. "I'm only here for the one and, hate to break it to ya, but I doubt he actually gives a sh!t about what happens to you, I mean, you guys met, what? A couple days ago?" It was true… they didn't even meet 24 hours ago and he had somehow decided he was head over heels in love and even slept with her. All he even really knew about her was, she was really cute and had a tough life in the past. Which is exactly why he couldn't leave with this creep. However, that option seemed far out of reach when he grabbed a handful of Xander's hair and started dragging him—literally dragging him to the exit as he shout furiously. "LET GO OF ME!"

  • She kicked and punched the man to her best ability, but it didn't help. After they had left, and she saw she could no longer try to help, she collapsed to the ground, crying. He...he couldn't do this! Surely, surely there was more to adopting then dragging them out the door! Wasn't there paper work? When her parents left her, there was LOADS of paperwork. Tears in her eyes, she watched the car drive recklessly away, and only stopped cranking her neck to see it when the car took a sharp left turn. What am I going to do now? She wondered to herself. That really wasn't fair, only a day of friendship and love? Now she had to wait a whole five years before she could set out to look for him, that is, if he was still alive. The haunting image of the gun in that man's pocket filled her brain. She lay on her back, her hair fanning above her head. People occasionally stepped over her to go upstairs, but they avoided her and left her alone. "Why did they have to take him, he should have taken me instead!" She murmered, half to herself, half to anyone out there who would have bothered to listen.

  • -Five years later-

    [ 1st person POV I just realized I said Xander was 14 when he's only 13 XD oops…… ]

I'm eighteen now and, as of today, a sophomore at Medfield University, probably one of the coolest buildings I've ever been in, but I honestly couldn't care less. People called me crazy for not being amazed by the architecture of the place, but honestly, what was there to be amazed about? In a good ten twenty years, I'd be will to bet this place is nothing but ashes. Then I'd be amazed. For now, I just rested my forehead on the cushioned steering wheel of my sleek black mustang—a final goodbye present from my adopted father—debating whether or not I should show up today or not. So far, the chances of my actually getting out of my car and going to my first class for the first day were very slim until my phone ringing loudly yanked me back from reality. It was Chloe—my one faithful girlfriend who stood by me throughout these five years of torture. Actually, four… we had some big fight that I can't even remember so we didn't even see each other for the first year, but after that she knew everything. I left out a long sigh and reached for my phone after letting it ring once or twice then tried my best to sound normal. "Hey, babe, what's up?" I answered, receiving her sweet giggling in response.
    "Hey Xander! Where are you?"
    "I'm in my car, why?"
"Oh, God are you driving? Sorry! I'll call—" I couldn't help laughing since I completely forgot how innocent she was in basically every aspect of life.
    "No, no, I'm not!"
"Oh…" I laughed again, I could already picture the red hue that had clearly taken over her face.
    "So what is it?"
"Weeeeell… I stopped by your dorm this morning because you obviously forgot what we gotta do today."
I fell silent at her words. We have something planned? Did I forget anniversary? "Sue me, I'm clueless…" I admitted shamefully receiving an annoyed huff from the other line.
"I knew it… you're showing those new freshmen who got scholarships to around campus 'cause they missed the original tour, remember?"
"Yeah…" I moaned. The very last thing I wanted was to have to deal with a bunch of whiney freshmen today, but I already gave the headmaster my word that I'd do it… "Okay, I'll be there in a few minutes."
I could hear her squeal on the other end the way she always does when she feels like she made a great accomplishment. "Great!! Love ya!" With that, the line went dead and it took me a minute to realize I was the one who hung up. Sh*t… I hopes he doesn't take that the wrong way…

  • Ok, here's Sage: http://www.google.com/search?c…%253D60454466%3B300%3B300

Oh geez that was long XD

Ic: Sage walked out of her adopted family's home, blowing her single mother a kiss and smiling brightly. She didn't bother wearing shoes, she loved being barefoot. And after all, she was only going a few blocks. She brushed her hair behind her ear, an old habit, and looked ahead, totally oblivious of the hand on her hip and her hips swaying. She only stopped when she saw a guy in a black mustang, freezing when she saw wo it was. "Xan...Xander?" She asked in disbelief as she walked up to the car. "It's...it's me, Sage! Remember me?" She couldn't believe it, she thought she would never see him once that man dragged him out, and she was left sitting in the doorframe, sobbing.

  • Oh, and I know the link takes you to google search at first, but if you wait a minute then it'll take you to the picture.

  • [ Sorry xDD you fixed the OOC things! xD ]

As soon as I hung up the phone, I leaned over to see myself in the mirror just to make sure I wasn't a mess. Then again, when was I ever? I smirked at my reflection just to get used to wearing that mask before I actually met up with Chloe then I raked my hand through my inky black hair to smooth out a few stray pieces until I found myself at least a little presentable for the day, but what I got out of my car to find was not at all what I expected. I mean, it wasn't everyday I went to my car to vent then get out to com face-to-face with someone who looked like another freshmen here to bug him. Sage? Did I ever know someone by that name? Looks like one too many concussions was finally taking it's tole in my memory. "Sorry chica," I muttered, a wide smirk forming on my lips as I, out of sheer curiosity, brushed aside the strands of dark brown hair shielding her one eye. I made no attempt to hide the surprise on my face since, I wasn't disgusted or anything, just surprised. I mean, two colors for your eyes? Adorable! "You must have mistaken me for someone else, but I'm kinda in a hurry here soo…? Bye now!" I quickly wedged myself between her and the two cars side by side, winking at her just as I squeezed by then acted as if mother happened and basically jogged to the main building.

  • "No, wait!" She cried, running to catch up with him. "The orphanage, remember? We were there together. Five years ago. We..." She paused, looking down at the ground. "We were in love." She adjusted the belt on the dress she was wearing, hoping she looked okay. She couldn't believe that they had found eachother again! She hadnt expected him to still be in love with her, but she hoped he would at least remember her. "Remember...remember the kiss? And then, that guy took you away. The one with the gun. I was left there, crying in the doorframe, hoping somehow, someway, you would come back. But you never did. But now..." She looked up at him with bright eyes. "Now we found eachother again!" She smiled sweetly at him. And we slept together, she silently added.

  • I gave her a weird look when she started spacing out, going into great detail to try and convince me that I was her childhood lover when, in fact, I'm pretty sure I'd remember something like that. And that gleam of happiness in her eyes when she was so excited made him feel so much worse… "Hey, listen…" I began, rubbing the back of his neck and shifting uncomfortably on his feet. "This is just some weird coincidence that I look so much like you childhood crush, but seriously, I gotta go. We can talk later if you want just… I really have to go!" I was kind of pleading with her now, gesturing towards the big building behind me as I started moving again. "Dorm 427—4th floor, 8th door on the left—around noon. Don't you dare ditch me." I smirked at her one last time before spinning around on my heel and this time sprinting for the main building since I could not afford getting in trouble with the head master.

[What if Xander and Sage share a dorm? x3 ]

  • Ok, sure

Ic: She nodded and replied: "That's my dorm, too," but he was already gone. How could she make him remember her again? But then she realized; the tree house. She would tell him how they planned to escape, how she jumped out of it. How they even slept together up there once, how Alyssa (lol we totally forgot about her) had gotten very sick, and the amblulance had to come. She walked to his- and her -dorm and sat on her bed. She was a transfer from another school, she had just moved back here, after three years of pleading her adopted mother to. She had just gotten her dorm assignment this afternoon, and her roommate wasn't there. "This is going to be awkward..." She murmered, and got a start on unpacking.

  • "Xander!" I heard Chloe's voice sound to my left once I stepped inside the spacious building. She was waving for me to hurry up so I did as she said and jogged up to her, greeting her with a tender kiss. Unfortunately for me, she had very strict rules to keep a good reputation so instead of getting any taste of her lips, she pushed me away. So cruel… I gave her a cute pouting face as one last attempt to change her mind, but she only extended her hand to gesture to a small group of freshmen just sitting around waiting for me.
"Okay, okay…" I sighed then walked up to the group to begin the tour. Just as expected, the girls were hardly even listening and instead just staring at me and a few of the guys just looked like they hated me for it. I couldn't help feel the need to get this over with as quickly as possible so I could ease my curiosity about that girl Sage.

  • Sage leaned back against the headboard of her bed, checking and re-checking the clock every few seconds. She couldn't wait for Xander to arrive. Is it possible to love someone, even after not seeing them for five years? She pondered the question as she checked her phone for unread text messages. Text messages from who, she didn't know, but she thought it made her look important if she checked her phone. No new replies on Xanje, either. She looked at the door anxiously, longing that any second, his head would pop out from behind the door. She thought about how his looks has changed since the orphanage, not in a bad way. In fat, she thought he looked rather handsome. She took the brown contacts out of her eyes, hoping maybe her mismatched eyes would help his remember. He most likely has a girlfriend now, she thought sadly, with those good looks of his. She looked up as the door opened....

  • [ *le me including her multi colored eyes when she was wearing brown contacts. xD ]

I walked down the hall to my dorm alone since I hadn't seen her since she refused my kiss this morning. Now that I actually thought about it… she never blew me off like that. Usually it was just telling me to wait a little longer and something of struggling until I finally won, but seriously, never like that. As I was wondering whether it was nothing or something, my mind decided to be a b*tch and travel back to those five years of torture, of wondering what I had done so horrible to deserve what I got though I quickly shook the thought away as soon I arrive at my door. No one was there. Did that girl forget? Or get lost? Part of me hoped for the former so I could actually get the time alone I wanted this morning so I went to unlock my door, but, oddly enough… it was already unlocked? I but my lip and my eyes widened at the memory of what Always happened if I came home and the door was unlocked. God, he can't follow me here can he? Eventually, I convinced myself I was just being paranoid and forced my legs to move insider, but my eyes didn't lift from the floor until I flopped down on the bottom bed with an exasperated sigh.

[ Just for the sake of saving space for explaining stuff, I'd like to look up pictures xD tell me what you think:

  • Omg that's like the awesomest school ever! I wanna go there!!! XD

"Hi!" Sage greeted him cheerfully. "Apparently, we share a dorm. I'm a transfer." She gave him a chance to take in her eyes. "NOW do you remember?" She asked, flashing him a flirty smile. She put her hands on her hips and ruffled his hair. "I certaintly remember you," She said, walking back over to her bed and sitting on her hands.
