Elisa
"You almost drowned out there." I replied.
Elisa
"You almost drowned out there." I replied.
"Oh my... I never thought I would drown...," she thought aloud. "Did you save me?"
Elisa
"Yes." I said.
"Then thank you so much," she smiled. "Thank you miss..."
Elisa
"Elisa." I told her my name.
"I'm Annie," she replied. "You have a pretty name..."
Elisa
I smiled. "Thanks. You have a pretty name, too." I said.
Annie slowly tried to get up, stumbling a bit. "Whoa..."
Elisa
"Careful!" I said, grabbing onto her arm so she wouldn't fall.
"Thank you...," she coughed a bit. "I-I can take care of myself though..."
Elisa
"You sure?" I asked.
"Yeah. I'm sure. Thank you for everything!" She started to walk away but tripped again. "Oof!"
Elisa
I rushed over to her and helped her up again. "You know, I'm starting to doubt you're really okay." I said.
(Bump)
(Look what I found the other day! Our old thread!)
"W-Why do you keep helping me out?" She asked. "I'm... Fine. Okay, I'm not fine... Happy?"
(Yay!)
Elisa
"I'm helping you because I care. I'm trying to be nice." I said. I should have known the girl wouldn't want my help. Of all my years living on land, it wasn't hard to figure out that humans usually didn't like the help of a stranger. As a mermaid, my instincts were always to help anyone in need. But here, nobody appreciates the help I give them.
"Well... Thank you," she said softly as she rubbed her voice. "There isn't a lot of nice people around her. It's nice to meet someone who is for a change," she smiled a bit.
Elisa
I smiled. "Ya, it's hard to find nice people around." I agreed.
"Thanks again. I best be getting home. See you around?" She asked curiously.
Elisa
"Ya, maybe we'll see each other again." i said, smiling.
