The small she-cat sat by the rivers edge watching the water flow by. She had been sitting there for almost two hours thinking about everything. Shaking her head she sighed and got up. The water was a pretty thing but also very deadly, she had seen cats almost drown. Like Benjamin. She shuddered never wanting to see that again.

"Fearless," Rumbled Breakingpaw, approaching his best friend with a warm smile. "Um... I-I wanted to apologize for scaring you.. I just wanted out but then I realized how much of an impact my death might have on others." There was shame in his tone as he absently took a seat besides her, that smile faltering.

Fearless sat back down and gave a sigh" Don't worry about it. Just please promise me you wont do it again. Please " the she-cat meowed not wanting him to hurt himself.

  • "Hi!" came the voice of Benjamin's daughter. She was rather unfamiliar with the she-cat however the canine had in fact witnessed the small apprentice dive ever so bravely into the water. And those eyes...they had burned with such a conviction. It was as if Feary loved the serval tom. Whether or not the femme had a romantic love or a sibling-like love for the head guard was a mystery.

Turning, her gaze would fall onto Breakingpaw. "Dad! Hi!" she barked, tears threatening to stream down her cheeks. The female attempted to restrain herself and refrained from nuzzling into her father's chest as a newborn would do.

"Oh hi. "Fearless meowed as Benjamin's daughter came up. She showed nothing.

Fearless shuffled her paws awkwardly" Well just promise me Benjamin. Okay. "

"Hi Corpsey," He greeted quietly before allowing his attention to become locked upon Fearless. "I promise," He assured, and then, to secure the vow he had taken, he attempted to hug her. A friendly gesture.

The she-cat looked surprised for a moment then smiled, she wanted to cry but couldn't. She hated it. "Thank you. "she meowed then moved away from him.

  • Was that pain Corpsepup sensed? As Ben embraced her, Corpse gazed at the small apprentice. Was she sad because Ben had tried to kill herself or because he already had a child? To be quite frank, Corpse was baffled due to the fact that Benjamin had children with a loner. He was over that femme, that is, if they ever had some kind of relationship. No, Ben still had his purity in tact. He hadn't had children with the girl he loved yet and to Corpsepup, that meant that he was still as innocent as a fresh blanket of snow.
