Hybrid blinked, her eyes shining. She could sense from the sudden flow of energy through her hooves that one of her Discord spells was growing. She smirked, glancing at her wounded shoulder. It was slowly healing. Her smirk grew wider as her eyes fluttered sleepily. In a matter of moments her head loll and darkness overcame her vision.

Hybrid-still disguised as the injured alicorn Unknown, slept soundly, unaware of the others. Her dreams were filled with red-but a pleasant, kind red that warmed her to the bone and filled her with happiness.

Hybrid winced in pain, looking sharply at the pony who touched her wound. She froze, still blurry eyed with sleep, and...was it just her...or did he look so much more...She snapped out of her thoughts as he bolted. Blinking uncertainly, she struggled to her hooves, her shoulder protesting painfully, "E-Ember...?"

The pony flattened her ears, confused, "w...what?" her eyes flashed, worry and fear and anger battling inside her. Shouldn't she just blast these stupid ponies to the moon!? Get it over with?! Swallowing, she showed none of her thoughts in her face, "Ember...I dont understand..." even though she knew she'd eventually be found out, her chest tingled with a hint of pain. Why...? What had she wanted? Her white yes turned to ember, his body slowly turning grey. More of that strange pain filled her as she thought about finishing the process, just...just so he could be like a servant to her...and....stay by her side...Was this...strange spark in her stomach...longing?!
