  • Dragonheart lead the way as he and Moonpelt advanced to the river for some relaxation, his emerald green eyes glinting in the sunlight beaming down upon the two felines.

  • The sunlight made her coat look like a bired's snowy feathers."This is a nice spot."Moonpelt looked at the shimmering water with saw a clear reflection in the water.

  • His response came out as a small purr as he enjoyed the warm New-leaf sunlight. It had been a long Leaf-bare, and it simply felt magnificent to feel the sun's life giving rays on his black pelt.

  • Moonpelt purred and laid down to take a drink. She lapped up the water as the ripples spread through the river.

  • As Dragonheart watched his friend lap up a drink from the river, he observed that her ivory pelt and his ink hued pelt were polar opposites. So were their personalities- he was a more quiet tomcat, but Moonpelt seemed like the outgoing, unafriad type of femme to him. He was rarely social, and kept to himself most of the time... That's how his life was after Arrowfur died.
Then a mischievous plot took foundation in his mind. He crouched down and slowly crept up behind her, a grin plastered onto his expression. Without warning, Dragonheart pounced onto Moonpelt playfully.

  • Moonpelt yowled and jumped into the river."What was that for!"Moonpelt was laughing when she tried to bite him gently and pull Dragonheart into the river as well!

  • "For my own amusement!"He meowed, laughter mixed in as well. He was dragged into the river, the lapis lazuli crystalline immersing his pelt

  • She paddled to the surface and laughed while purring. She had a bond with Dragonheart that she didn't have with anyone else.

  • Swimming elegantly underneath the liquid crystalline, Dragonheart smiled to himself, glad he had met Moonpelt. He spotted the ivory femme's tail, and he brushed against her legs, teasing her.

  • Moonpelt shook the water off her pelt. She purred and lonely, but Dragonheart had made her life better.

  • The tom came up for air, a purr threatening to reveal itself, but he held it in... at least for now. Dragonheart dove back underwater and caught sight of a silvery flash. He lashed out with his paws and caught the fish's scaly skin with ease, and he emerged with the prey and showed it off to Moonpelt, feeling encouraged by the she-cat's presence.

  • Moonpelt purred."Nice work!"She dove back in the water and saw a silver flash. She threw it out of the water and leaped out onto land. She then grabbed the fish and smiled while biting into the fish.

  • He smiled with pride in both himself and in Moonpelt as he observed her agility. Despite her easily seen pelt, she's a brilliant hunter. He thought to himself. Dragonheart set his own fish down on the banks of the river, the water lapping at the shore in vain of getting to the lush vegetation just beyond it's reach. The jet black hued tom gazed up at the sky, the golden sun's rays shining down on his pelt, making the emerald hue in his eyes gleam brightly and added shine to his dark, shadowy pelt.

  • Moonpelt finished her fish."Well, that was refreshing! Now what is there to do?"Moonpelt licked her paws and the wind blew.

  • He pondered that question for a moment, but he was also distracted by the gentle yet exhilarating flow of the lapis lazuli river, he was soothed by it, and he lay down beside it, stretching out his body and yawning. Dragonheart's eyes barely left the river, but he spoke. "We can always just relax."

  • Moonpelt nodded. She listened to the flow of the river. She purred and closed her eyes.

  • Dragonheart watched it contentedly with a serene smile plastered on his face, his black tail sweeping the ground in a rhythmic side-to-side motion. It accidently brushed against Moonpelt, but he pretended not to notice so that he wouldn't embarrass himself potentially.

  • Moonpelt noticed that his tail had brushed against hers. She didn't want to embarass him, so she just acted like she didn't know.

  • The tomcat yawned and gazed at the setting sun with an unnecessary eagerness glinting in his eyes. Then he turned to Moonpelt, taking in her figure and smiling at her, but it wasn't an ordinary smile- it was his trademark crooked smile.

  • Moonpelt smiled as well. She purred"This was a fantastic day, Dragonheart."
