    The Plot


    Wild horses are captured, and humans begin to tame them. Soon, the herd is conflicted. Some horses want to stay with their owners, while others only dream of freedom again.

    Carol saddled up her horse, ready to go with Floyd and the others to help with the round up.

    Carol got to the ring where the horses were rounded up. She dismounted her horse, tying him to a fence post away from most of the ruckus. She jogged over to the network of fences that were sorting out horses.


    Desertflower whinnied nervously as cowhands herded horses through the maze. She brushed against a buckskin mare.

    "It's just so strange here!" She whinnied.


    Carol along the lines of fences, seeing if any horse caught her eye. She noticed Dream, the bright coat standing out.

    Floyd came quickly riding his horse.


    Fear was neighing loudly rearing in anger and pain. He was upset and panicking


    Flame Stayed calm or tryed to her red and white coat buring brightly next to the other pelts

    Carol continued on to the outdoor auction ring. It was fairly early, so it wasn't too crowded. She found a seat near the ring.


    Desertflower spooked into a gallop for a couple strides when a cowhand shooed her along.

    A cowhand called out "Woah!" as Fear reared and clattered against the gate.
    He took out a lasso and threw it at Fear's neck, not wanting him to injure himself or the other horses.

    Desertflower stomped a hoof, spooked by all the commotion.


    Carol left her hat on her seat to mark it claimed, and jogged over to the gates. "Need any help?" She offered. Most of the hands knew her, so she figured they would let her.
