    Woopsie!

As Inu ran to the forest, she notices a wolf bolting out of the window. "No..." She murmured and ran faster.

Himitsu ran past Connor, holding her arms out in joy. She turned and ran backwards, laughing as she skipped. She went to turn, but her feet got tangled and she landed face first in the sand, laughing all the while.

Inari skidded around the greenery, tearing up the fine blades behind her. After a few more lasting moments, she halted in a small clearing of the forest before shifting back to her normal self. "Damnit," she hissed to herself as she crossed her legs on the now cold forested earth.

Connor laughed as he jogged towards Himitsu's location. "You okay there?" He exclaimed in a friendly manner, holding out his hand to help her up.

Himitsu lifted her head, giggling. "I'm good!" She turned and took Connors hand, but instead of pulling herself up she pulled Connor down next to her, laughing all the while.

Inu came to a wobbly stop inside the forest, "Damn... Where are they?" She panted.

Inari scowled to herself, muttering phrases under her breath. "Cazzo," she grumbled the Italian phrase, sulking like a small child. "I'm not the idiot. They are. I know exactly what I'm doing. I'm not a moron. Inu is the moron. But she's not." Inari ranted on, fighting herself almost absent-mindedly.

"Hey!" Connor laughed as Himitsu pulled him into the sand. "Aww, that wasn't very nice," he joked, grinning darkly at his friend.

    IC:

"What are you thinking?" Himitsu narrowed her eyes at Connor, thinking of what he might do.

Inu looked around for Namashi, when she realized her ears and tail were still out. "Crap!" She said and hid her extra limbs. With a sigh, the girl walked on and tried to find her friends.

"Yeah," a faint, ghostly smile formed on Inari's face, "I'll just apologise, but not now." Turning back and saying sorry would make her look ridiculous, she thought to herself. Inari twirled a delicate flower around her fingers, plucking it harshly from the ground and studying it with a keen visionary. The yellowed petals began to wither slowly at the contact of the character's skin, making Inari toss it away and get to her feet.

Connor frowned. "I'm not thinking of anything," he assured as if he were confused, "what makes you say that, Himitsu?" Connor crossed his legs and rolled his shoulders back in a calm stretch before relaxing again.

"'Cause of the way you grinned at me." Himitsu giggled and laid back down on the warm sand, feeling her body sink in, the sand parting and moulding to her body shape.

After a short while of searching, the tired dog eared girl turned back in utter distress at what might have happened to Namashi. She barely spared a thought for Inari, little did she realize.

  • "I'm such an idiot!" Inari raised her voice after truly considering some of the things she had done and said earlier. She just had to find the others and apologise.

Connor narrowed his eyes. "So I'm not allowed to smile now without you thinking I'm devising a master plan?"

"Oh, Shush." Himitsu giggled and flicked her wrist.

When Inu finally emerged from the forest sweat laced her brow and she looked distraught.

Inari began to are her way out of the frontier-like greenery, her stress and annoyance with herself leaving a vague trail of complimenting frost in her footsteps which the moist air shortly melted away.

He smiled again as Himitsu ordered his silence. "It's not that bad a day today, actually. I'm glad we came."

  • OOC:

    IC:

"Same here..." Himitsu said with a breathless tone.

Inu growled when she remembered Inari. "Do I really have to go back?!"

Inari stopped and closed her eyes, tasting the air very subtly with her wolffish senses. If she wanted to find Inu, this was the quickest way. Her roommate would probably be around here somewhere.

"Inari?!" Inu called out and groaned. "Where are you?!" She sat down in the forest and sighed.
