"Not that I can remember... I mean, maybe when I was younger, But I can't think of any off the top of my head." He replied and flopped down next to Inari.

A few minuets later, Himitsu returned wearing a nice black dress and flats.

She frowned. "That's strange," she muttered to herself.

Connor smiled upon Himitsu's return. "Nice dress," he complimented as he began to walk off with the girl at his side.

    "Why? Have you?" Namashi queried.

"Thanks, I thought I'd look my best." She smiled and winked at him as they approached the gates.

She shrugged. "To be honest, sort of," Inari silently hoped that Namashi would keep this to himself, but she didn't say so out loud, considering what he said about his epiphany earlier. "It's just that sometimes, I just can't do anything about it." She sat back up and looked at Namashi, concern in her eyes. "It's only minor stuff though. The most serious problem I've had with it is fogging up the classroom window."

"It kinda puts me to shame," Connor laughed about his casual shirt and denim pants.

  • OOC:

I really have no idea what my characters could do using the power, but here goes.

    IC:

"That's that plain, FEEL THE SHAME!" Himitsu laughed and gently punched him in the shoulder.

"I'd love to see that happen!" Namashi chuckled and looked over at the grass. He raised and hand and effortlessly made a rose grow and bloom. He picked it and held it above his face, studying it in the light of the dawn sun.

Inari waved her left hand ever so slightly, forming a handful of petite and solemn snowflakes above Namashi's flower. Each of the flakes landed softly on the flower, the droplets of melted water glimmering on the petalls. The girl simply smiled afterwards.

Connor laughed as well. "Easy, tiger," he joked as he gently flicked Himitsu in the arm.

  • OOC:

    IC:

"Nature..." Namashi said twirling the flower, studying every petal carefully. "Beautiful, yet terrifying." He smiled and placed the flower against his chest.

  • OOC:

    IC:

"How so?" Inari asked as Namashi clutched the flower towards himself. "A snowflake in late Spring should be normal to you by now."

  • OOC:

    IC:

Namashi let out a weak laugh. This is one of the only times when you'd see Namashi this serious, and this sensitive. "Beautiful hardly needs an explanation, I mean, look and this rose." He said holding it up before bringing it back down. "And terrifying, things like tornados, earthquakes, volcanos... They cause mass damage, terrifying to many, but not to some." He breathed in and sighed deeply.

    IC:

"Where is all this coming from?" The girl asked, her barely-audible accent filled noticeably puzzled.

"Do you have a favorite cafe?" Connor asked his friend politely.

  • OOC:

    IC:

"Being out here really brings out the best in me." Namashi smiled and looked over at her.

"Not really, you?" She asked admiring the scenery. A long blanket of hair draped over her right eye.

  • OOC:

    IC:

The girl rolled her eyes with amusement. "Yeah right!"

"Me neither," Connor replied. "I guess we'll just go to the closest one, it's hardly five minutes away."

  • OOC:

    IC:

"What's that supposed to mean?' Namashi asked in surprise.

"Sure." Himitsu giggled and skipped along merrily.

  • OOC:

"Just because your sitting around in a tree in the middle of the forest doesn't make you a different person," Inari explained, trying to find a logical response. "If you think about it, the world and weather around us, sometimes people, effect our emotions, but don't change our personality."
She fell silent again and it felt a little awkward, so she mentally searched for something to change the topic.
"You got any siblings?" Inari blurted out completely accidentally.

  • OOC:

    IC:

"Yes, I have one beautiful twin sister, Kayaka. And in answer to your recent answer, you may see it that way, but to me, this forest brings out another side to me that no one else has seen...Other than Kotori.." He sighed and closed his eyes, his small smile fading.

Namashi looked away and gritted his teeth. "No-one." He sighed and stared at the pale morning sky. "Just someone who means a lot to me, and oh how I want to see her again..." The words got stuck in his throat and he had to force them away.

Fearing that she may have upset her friend, Inari hurriedly changed the subject. "You said you have a twin. I have a brother," she explained, picking her words carefully. "we did everything together. He taught me how to defend myself. But then something terrible happened when we went to the beach together."

  • OOC:

    IC:

"What do you mean?" Namashi asked and thoughtfully looked to his friend.

  • OOC:

    IC:

"Well, the only annoying thing about him was the fact that we could never agree on anything. So when we were in the water we got into this huge argument. And then it got a little dangerous and I almost exposed myself," he paused to recollect the past memory, "so a ran away and returned in the middle of the night through my bedroom window. I got grounded, but it wasn't important. Since then, my brother and I didn't really talk. But he's still trying to find out why I ran off."
