"scared and sad, the little kitten climbed out of her rabbit hole to have a look at her planet. everything was in ruin; all the buildings were crumbling, and the smell of death hung in the air. there were bodys scattered too and fro, and the kitten simply couldn't take it anymore. she dived back into her rabbit hole, expecting to be in the cramped and remotely safe area she was in before, but this time, she dropped down a hole and plummeted downward. screaming, the kitten fell and fell until she suddenly stopped, hanging in mid air. she was so close to the ground now, that her whiskers could feel the cold ground. gently, the force dropped her and she scrambled to her paws and look around. she was in a cavern with stalagmites hanging from the ceiling. she turned and saw a ghostly figure standing at the edge of the cave."[ again, vani left them off on a cliff hanger as she tried to develop the rest of the story.

vani shook her head slightly to Mercedes before continuing. "the figure advanced on the little kitten. she had a gold aura and lit up the area she was in. 'w-who are you?' the kitten asked timidly. 'I am desire,' the figure told the kitten, in a voice smooth as silk and gentle as a feather. 'I will grant you one wish,' the figure told the kitten gently. in a bit sterner voice, the figure added; 'choose wisely, young one.' the kitten did not heed desire's warning, for she only wanted one thing at the time. 'I want to go far, far away from here,' she told the femme strongly. with a sigh, the spirit shook her head sadly. 'as you wish,' she murmured and leaned forward and touched the kitten on the forehead. the cavern disappeared, and she was back on her planet. she was slightly confused for a moment, but then she began to lift off the ground. she watched as her jet black fur became white, and her amber eyes became silver. she ascended towards the sky, and through the gloomy clouds that hung over her planet. as soon as she touched the clouds, they became transparent to her, and she realized that it was nighttime above all the gloom. she soon slowed t a stop in the sky. she was no longer a kitten; she was a star, far far away from her dreary home planet, yet doomed to watch it for eternity. yet one day every year, the kitten disappears from the sky and goes to visit desire. the day after, when she's back in the sky, she becomes the brightest star in the sky, happy to see her old friend. the end." the kitten passed for a moment, be fore adding. "the moral to this story, is to be careful what you wish for, because if it comes true, it may not be as you intend."
