Tristan laid by a sparkling pond (which was indeed frozen), his head on his paws. He did not smile, even at the pretty little fireflies that danced around him. The moon lit the pond and stones around it a beautiful sheen of silver, but he didn't even smile at that. It was a mystery why he never smiled. Because when he was a pup, he never stopped smiling or laughing. Now, he didn't even attempt it. He was quite handsome, so it couldn't be jealousy of other brutes' looks. His history, perhaps? His milky brown eyes stared at the pond as if there was something important in it, but nothing except the moon's reflection and silver sheen was fascinating. Snow fell upon, covering his brown fur, but he didn't seem to care. He would only blow or shake off the ones that landed on his snout and ears.

Though it was night, Lillia was full of energy. She was built like a night owl. She sped through trees and crashed through piles of snow, sending it everywhere. She saw a few fireflies and butterflies and a thought occurred to her- why were they out in the winter? Spring must be coming soon. Lillia dancing through snowflakes that blew to the ground, a winter song playing in her head. Best. Day. Ever.

Colt laid in the snow, ignoring the cold that seeped through his thick coat. He was thinking hard. It was a rare moment when this brute was still. His warm brown eyes looked up at the moon, it was a good night. An owl called out every now and then. A lonely sound. His black, white, and brown coat had a small layer of snow over it. "I got you!" Little Kaiser leapt out a him, the two rolled and laughed. Kaiser cuffing Colt's ear and Colt mock growled.

    [hr]

"To be great is to be misunderstood."

Stryder sat still, her solemn expression had a hint of regal to it. Her keen eyes watched Kaiser and Colt tumble with a distaste. The female stood, shaking out her thick grey coat and trotted to the pond. She greeted Tristan with a dip of her head. She pawed at the pond, finding it frozen. A soft sigh rolled off her tongue.

    [hr]

"I have suffered from being misunderstood, but I would have suffered a lot more if I had been understood."

Prism went to intervene the rough housing her son and Colt were in, but stopped herself. She had a hard time trusting Colt but that didn't mean she had the right to stop her son from having fun. She sat back down, watching them like a hawk. If Kaiser even acted like he was hurt, Prism would snatch her pup away.

    [hr]

    "I am a misunderstood genius"

Kaiser laughed, a joyful sound as Colt let him win the tussle. The young pup pranced around the older male in a cocky manner. "I win, I win, I win!" He chanted. "Yeah well, don't get a big head... I'll win the next one." Colt teased. "You said that las time, remember?" Kaiser shot back. "Nice. Your gonna be as good as me with come backs one day... One day." Colt pulled Kaiser to him and began to baby him. "Aww, your a cute little puppy! Who's a good puppy?" Colt teased, ruffling Kaiser's fur. Kaiser gave a bark of anger, yanking away from a laughing Colt. He smoothed his coat back down. "I'm not cute! I'm vicious..." He muttered, stalking away.

  • Kida stretched her long legs and shook out her pretty thick fur. She was happy to be alone at last but that was about all. She usually was never happy, knowing no one really cared for her and she was always...misunderstood. It sucked water droplets. Kida trotted out of her den and sighed softly.

"I guess running away... was the only thing I knew how to do right"

Cold snow pressed into Jay's golden back as he lay, looking up at the star filled sky. His creamy eyes scanned the flickering white specks, and he wondered just how far away they were. His paws rested against his thick chest, his ragged fur poking out in odd directions. Sighing deeply, his ear barely twitching when he heard the sound of an owl. The chilly wind ruffled Jay's pelt and he shivered slightly, but he knew spring was on its way. How could it not be? The firefly's were out, their glowing bodies were like the stars themself; dazzling and bright. He pawed at the air as one floated by, and he couldn't help but lightly chuckle when it circled his paw and flew off. He heard paw steps nearby, but he didn't want to leave his comfy position on his back. He turned his head slightly, listening to the sound of dogs nearby.

Colt was now too restless to lay down or relax. The male stood and began walking around, marveling at the snow falling. How could something fall so gracefully? A beauty all it's own. By the look of it, you'd think Colt never seen snow before. His eyes landed on Lillia, he shook out his coat and gathering his courage. Colt trotted over to the fae, giving a welcoming wag of his tail. "Hey Lillia." He greeted then scolded himself. That's lame, say something else! "Beautiful night, isn't it?" He commented. That was a bit better...

"To be great is to be misunderstood."

Stryder knew not to lick the ice, as her tongue would stick. That had to be painful. But she was thirsty, instead, she resorted to taking a small portion of snow. It immediately dissolved to water in her mouth. That took care of her thirst but made her cold. The moonlight shone down on her grey coat, highlighting the silver strands. Stryder sat down, letting herself relax and watch the fireflies light up. "Gorgeous." She murmured. The white snow drifting down, lightning bugs showing off with little bursts of light; like a mini sun, the moonlight cast through the treetops, and the stars agains the black sky. Combined it was amazing.

Prism's stomach growled, pronouncing her hunger to the world. "Be good... I'll be back later." Prism barked sternly to Kaiser, who nodded. With that, Prism went off in search of food, following different scents. Her nose tilted upward toward the sky, mouth parted slightly.

    [hr]

    "I am a misunderstood genius"

The pup was still for a few moments after his mother left, then stood, catching sight of the frozen pond. He had a sudden urge to walk on the ice. His blue eyes sparked with curiosity and mischief as he raced over to the pond. Gingerly placing his paw on the ice, then took three more steps until all four paws were on the ice. With a sudden burst of speed, Kaiser ran to the middle of the pond, slipping, sometimes falling but always getting back up and sliding again. A giggle escaped his maw, tail wagging. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Stryder stand up. "Careful Kaiser!" She called, taking a few steps toward the pond.

[font=times new roman][color=black]Lillia turned her head to the joyful sound of Colt's voice. "Why, yes it is." She said, tilting her head and smiling.
"But, there's something missing." Her smile disappeared and
she looked at the sky as if searching for something. Her
brown eyes seemed to twinkle. The young fae turned her optics back to Colt.
"Isn't there?" She asked for his opinion, looking back to the stars.
She saw a few constellations. The archer... the big dipper... and more.

  • Jada looked up at the sky. She wondered what had ever happened. She whimpered slightly at the thought of running through the alleyways, and them making fun of her. She winced a bit, and laid her head on her paws. Did anyone understand her? Did anyone know how she felt? She yawned a bit, as a tear trickled down her cheek. She looked back up at the star filled sky, gazing, looking for the constillations that were pasted across the dark sky. Fireflies danced around her, their glowing bodies blending with the stars above. It was a pretty sight, but it didn't take her mind off the fact that no on understood her. She sighed, glancing up at the stars again, and scanning the area for any dogs, that might be nice, and actually understand her, unlike most.

  • Kida

Kida hovered nearby. Watching tristan. Her optics sparkling in the light as her thick fur glowed gently. She was wondering if she should go out and say hello...maybe just maybe these two siblings were different from the others that made fun of her. Kida was the one in the family that was misunderstood. Whenever she tried to say something nice, her family took it the wrong way. Kida wanted her sister to be with her but no...she couldn't. The family was dead...she believed anyway.

Colt frowned a little, eyes narrowed in concentration as he watched the sky. "Missing?" He question, eyes roaming the vast expanse of sky. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary... "Hm, I don't see anything missing..." He said after awhile. He turned to look back at Lillia. Could she mean crickets? He tiled his head, the orchestra of chirping was silent, because of the snow that layered the ground.

  • Jada's eyes welled up with tears. A speck of snow landed on her nose, causing her to sneeze. She sniffled and looked up at the dancing fireflies. Her eyes twinkled. She felt like this was the only time she wasn't completely sad. She glanced to her side and looked at what seemed to be a husky or wolf. (Tristan) she sighed and saw how he felt. She got up. Well, here goes... maybe he's not like the others. she thought and gulped. She padded toward him and managed to croak, "Hi." She looked at him, hoping he wasn't going to reject her. Tears trickled down her face as she slumped to the ground, her head on her paws. "Don't makr fun of me like them, please!" She sobbed, then glanced up at him again. She wasn't pretending to be a damsel on distress, no. She was trying to make a friends, and was afraid it'd backfire on her.

[font=times new roman][color=black]Lillia smiled. "One more smile. One more smile is missing." She added.

Tristan lifted his head, curiously watching the new female. "Is that so?" He said gently, and plainly. "Well, you see, that's not how I work." He stretched his back, closing his eyes. He opened them and looked back at her. "Nah, that's not me." He repeated.

  • [align=center]

Jada wagged her tail, slightly. "You mean, you aren't like the others?" She asked, her head slightly cocked to the left. Her eyes glittered with excitement. "I'm Jada." She barked. "What's your name?" She asked. She hoped to learn more about the male. He was the only one that didn't make fun of her. The only one who didn't misunderstand her. She smiled a bit, which was the first time in ages. She stretched a bit, then glanced back at him. Maybe she would have a new friend? She winced a bit at the thought. Then she sighed, sitting on her haunches, her long fluffy ears stretched up, so she could hear the words he was going to say.

    [font=times new roman][color=black]Ooc: Anime frozen anime! :)

Tristan smiled slightly, the smile disappearing as quickly as it came. "Tri-" He stopped, turning his head to Kida. "Hello, as I was saying, girls, I'm Tristan." He finished. His eyes looked gloomy, as if a family member had just died.

Lillia laughed slightly. "Tristan, my brother. He never smiles. I betcha the whole world would light up if he did it just once!" She giggled, rolling onto her back and looking at the stars. She turned her pretty gaze to Colt. "You know?"

  • Lol oops...l that's right ;)

Kida settled beside Tristan "nice to meet you, I HTML." She giggled lightly for once. Just to see the pretty fae smile was rare. Her brilliant gorgeous intense green optics met Tristan's gaze.nsince that is when her crush on the brute was created.

  • [align=center]}

Jada's eyes watered a bit when she saw Kida's eyes focused on her. She ignored it and her eyes fixed back to Tristan. She saddened a bit , seeing the gloominess in his eyes. She wanted to blurt out 'What's wrong' but maybe he was just that way. She thought something was wrong. "What's wrong?" She asked, still seeing the gloominess pasted to his eyes. She then shook out her long fur. The glint in her eyes was from excitement building In her. She turned her attention toward Kida. Why is she looking at me that way for? she thought. Maybe she was one of them. She tucked her tail under her. She knew the she dog was flirting with him and rolled her eyes.
