    [hr][sup]Plot:
    [Cake's]
it was night and you had decided to mine and found an amazing mineshaft. what made it better was the amount of mobs that spawned there. you are always up for a good mineshaft. [timeskip]
you're in a mineshaft, low on health because you just ran into a lot of creepers who never seemed to stop following you. it was getting to be the point where you would collapse, so you needed a small, and temporary shelter where you could regain your energy once again to continue. as you finished mining the small area in the wall of the mineshaft you here a small and distant scream of terror. you have a cold feeling in your stomach as you stand there, not knowing what to do, but after a moment, you bolt away to see what the commotion is. [go on from there]

    [Murp's]
you were happily skipping on the surface in a plains biome without a doubt in mind, when you suddenly fall into a ravine in the ground hidden by the tall grass surrounding it. when you hit the ground, your heart stops. at first, you think you died, but after a few seconds you realized it was okay and stood up, brushing of the debris left on you after sitting in the dusty cave. you look around still trying to understand what was going on and you notice a mineshaft coming out of the wall of the ravine you fell in. figuring it would be safe to camp in there, you begin to head towards it. once in that, you walk around in the new area you found and guessed it was okay to be in. it did look neat. but as you were walking, there was a block missing from the pathway and you fall into the hole which was actually a cave spider spawner. you frantically scream and begin to struggle you way out of the cobwebs. [go on from there][hr][sup][[ image: Cake(left) && Murp(right) ]]

  • (Cake, you're amazing :p I love the picture! Sorry it took so long to get here. I'm going to try to finish up SavannahClan stuff today, btw.

Murp struggled frantically, but she was stuck in her cobweb prison. It was almost comfortable, the webs were soft although sticky, but a constant slurping noise kept her struggling to escape. The slurping was joined by another and got louder, sending a chill through the poor, terrified melon creature. Through the mass of white cobwebs, a set of glowing red eyes appeared. Murp hated spiders. She thought they were a bit cute, sure, but they really scared her. Cave spiders, somehow cuter and more terrifying than the regular spiders. Probably the size, she figured.

The eyes were getting closer and more and more slurps were echoing off of the narrow cave walls. I have to get out of here! Not much longer, and the venom of one of the pests would be working its way through her. Past experiences... What had she done? It didn't take long for her to remember. She had ran. Well, running wouldn't help her now. She could hardly move. The cobwebs made sure of that. The spiders were quickly getting closer, and Murp resumed struggling in vain. Although she wasn't a screamer, a loud yell escaped her.

how am i amazing? XD i did like nothing ^_^
    &&thanks for coming!

    &&&hopefully we can get that up soon too. i still need to reply on your message, so i'll do that right now cx }}
----- ( btw sorry this is a bit patchy. i had to type it up quickly this morning. o.o )
cake sprinted into the mineshaft, out from her shelter in the wall. she was still feeling the damage from before and was a little nervous about taking this risky job, but she knew she couldn't just sit back and let it happen. this was another player who was in deep trouble, and in this case, deep cobwebs. fortunately, cake has spent most of her days down in this cave, and memorized the twists and turns of it as if it were her home, so she could get to the player faster.

the closer she got to the source of the screaming, she more uncomfortable she began to feel. she knew that a few more turns would lead to a nasty cave spider spawner. as she was approaching this area, millions of questions flooded her mind. who would have the guts to come down here? did she know this person? well, not a lot of her friends are as adventurous as she is ... so it probably isn't someone she knows - but someone new? the suspense was killing her. she was burning up. all this running and the fact that this player could be a good friend of hers? oh goodness.. she muttered softly in between the breaths she took as she raced through the pathways.

cake came to her last turn and swallowed nervously. it was indeed the cave spider spawner. the path was completely engulfed with sticky cobwebs. one side of her was telling her to back out of this and that it wasn't worth it ... but another side was telling her go for it or this person is a goner. the grip on her sword slowly tightened as she squinted into the darkness of the cobwebs to see if she could locate the player trapped. in the distance, multiple red eyes glared back at her, as if telling her to retreat now. oh how she wanted to run off, but she managed to keep her cool, and continue on. she gathered up enough courage and raised her sword high, then forcefully swung down onto the cobwebs and sliced them into string that fell upon the ground. she saw the feet of the player dangling in the cobwebs and cave spiders slowly crawling towards her. within seconds, a walkway was made and cake was able to reach the spawner and the cave spiders themselves.

she took out her pic and mined away the spawner, and killed the spiders that were left behind. a small smile crept unto her face, relieved that it was over. after catching a small breath, cake turned and reached out to help the unknown player from the cobwebs after putting her tools away in her inventory. "some sticky situation you got yourself into, ey?"

  • (You just are :p And that's okay, your posts are still quite longer than mine

"Yeah." gasped Murp, wiggling to escape. "Wow, that was close. Thank you." she said, her heart still racing. "I hate spiders." The melon looked around. "Not a fan of caves either. Or dark. Especially the dark. I hate the dark." Murp finally managed to free herself from the cobwebs and fell flat on her face, a stubborn sticky strand of web still on her ankle. "Ouch." She rolled over and sat up.

"I was just taking a nice stroll through a field. It was sunny and peaceful and I ran into some nice sheep and cows. I just wanted to pass some time and have some fun with a simple stroll, no huge purpose. I usually just want a simple walk, but they never seem to work out." Murp frowned and looked around, then back at Cake. "Anyway, sorry about all that chat. I'm Murp." Murp stood on one leg and worked to free her ankle.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase][sup]
    (D'aww..<3 you're awesome too, murpy!)
    -
she sighed with a shy smile, still a little tired from all the restless running she did before getting here. this player didn't look like she was around here. so she was new after all. as her new melon friend was talking, she turned to the side and disposed of her unneeded string she got from slicing the cobwebs out from her inventory. once finished, she turned back to face her friend and nodded. "haha. those plains biomes always seem to have hidden holes in the ground." cake chuckled softly. after saying that, a small memory appeared in her head, showing her the first time she had fallen into a hole. 'ahh.. memories.. she thought silently to herself as she looked around.

cake noticed she was getting a bit tired and decided to retire back to her little shelter, but she was still pondering on whether or not to bring her new friend. after minutes passed, she finally came up with a decision and asked, "i have a little shelter in here. i'm sure you're a little shaken up because of those spiders ... so why don't we just camp out in here for now, and later we can bring you back up into the surface. how does that sound?" she asked as she slowly started to walk in the direction of the shelter, waiting for Murp to follow. "oh yah, and i'm Cake. nice to meet ya, murp."

  • Murp pushed the cobweb to the side and straightened up, the web now stuck on her hand. She shook her hand and listened to Cake. "Nice to meet you, too." said Murp once she was finished talking. "I'd be spider food if it weren't for you. And it would be nice to rest at your place for a bit, if that's alright." she said, rubbing the cobweb off on the wall. "Let's go." She was beginning to relax, but became taut again as she looked at the dark passage ahead. You'll be fine, she told herself, but she couldn't help it as the memories of zombies and skeletons creeped into her mind. "Quickly, maybe?" Murp said, keeping her voice from shaking.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase][sup]cake removed her hood from her head and let it rest on her shoulders as she took off her glasses to watch murp get the cobwebs off from her body. she giggled softly and decided to help out a little, so she took out her sword and gently cut the remains off. "oh it was nothing really ... but you're welcome." she replied happily. now it was time to head back to the shelter. 'i'll get to rest soon ... phew.'
as she turned to look down the dark pathways they were headed into, she realized that she was the only one armed, and she figured murp could fight alongside with her as well. after deciding what she would do, cake stopped in her tracks and looked in her inventory. since she was close combat fighting, murp could be an archer to hit them from afar. cake had the perfect amount of items to craft a new bow for her friend and some arrows. "okay .. so sticks .. string .. and flint.." she muttered to herself as she crafted it. once she finished, she held them out towards murp and smiled happily. "here you go! i know for a fact that we are going to come across mobs as we head there, so i figured you could help fight to, huh?"

  • "Oh," Murp took the bow, "yeah. I can do that." Actually, she didn't have the best aim, but it was nice to be armed. It made her feel safer. Also, she would be more of a help. The mobs wouldn't be to far away if they were in a cave. The twists and turns would seperate them for a little bit. Then, they would be pretty close and an easy shot. Murp used this to reassure herself, but close made her nervous. Close to the undead mobs, creepers, more spiders... She shivered and grasped the bow tighter. "Shall we go now?" asked Murp, wanting to get this over with. She tried to focus on happy things- sunshine, trees, the fresh loaf of bread in her inventory... She smiled for a second, then looked at the dark passage again and nervousness returned.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase][sup]((sorry i disconnected from the server! my internet shuts off at 8:30 and everything goes down.))

she realized why murp was in such a hurry to get to the shelter. it was quite obvious in her tone of voice. she was scared. cake let out a small sigh and looked into her inventory, trying to help her frightened melon friend. a few seconds after, she spotted the perfect item. a torch! she pulled the torches out and once again- handed it to murp. "i noticed you're a bit scared, huh? ... well that's okay. i'm here for you, and so is this torch!" she said happily.
after that deed was done, she turned around and began to walk through the path of the cave, knowing that murp would follow behind. hisses of creepers and the crawling noises of the spiders echoed through the cave as they were walking. it sent chills through her body, but she kept on. her sword was held tightly in her hand as she continued onwards. but within seconds, cake stopped dead in her tracks and squinted her eyes, seeing exactly what she wanted to see. ender particles. she swallowed heavily after being reminded of her past times with endermen within these pathways - and they weren't pretty.
cake turned with her eyes to the ground to face murp and muttered quietly. "i don't have the right supplies for this situation this time, so may i suggest you keep your head down and make no eye contact with the endermen that were in here. one look in their eyes and we're toast, ya here?" cake didn't go on until she had heard reply from murp, making sure she had understood the orders.

  • (It's okay :3

Murp took the torch happily. She liked torches- a good source of light and not hard to make. She was a tiny bit more relaxed as she carried the torch. She kept the light source close and was comforted by the warmth, but far enough away it wouldn't singe or light her beloved scarf. At every little noise she jumped, but forced herself to remain calm. When she saw the ender particles, more fear rose inside her. Enderman freaked her out. They were strong and mysterious, and they could teleport. She listened to what Cake said, then nodded. "Okay." If you hear one scream, just make sure there's something solid behind you. she thought, knowing how angry enderman teleported behind you. Murp lowered the torch and tried to focus on it.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase][sup]
cake nodded in reply to hers and turned back to where she was headed in the first place before she was rudely interrupted by the obnoxious endermen lurking in the darkness of this mineshaft. those mobs usually rushed her nerves almost, but what seemed to calm her the most was thinking about the other times she's dealt with them. cake lived in the end a few times, and these certain endermen are scaring her? she grunted quietly and kept walking as if it didn't exist. "murp let's hurry." she said back to her friend.
but unfortunately, that was the wrong choice - calling back to her friend. her voice echoed through the halls of the mineshaft which reached only one endermen. it teleported in front of them and leaned down into cake's face as it's eyes glowed menacingly on her. cake nearly had a heart attack and fell back. thinking fast, cake snatched the bow from murp's hands and shoot the arrow at the enderman blocking their path. it was a direct hit, but it began to make an ear-piercing screech, almost as if it was a call for help. cake pushed herself and jumped a little ways away from murp, not realizing what the endermen had in store for the both of them. once appeared behind murp and grabbed her by the waist and screeched. cake watched in horror as she began to recklessly shoot arrows at the enderman to save her friend. "murp! get outta there!" in the distance behind murp, she saw more glowing eyes and particles coming towards them.
[going to give you a chance to rp your part before i continue ... c: ]

  • Murp yelped and managed to jump back so that the wall of the cave was behind her. She held her arms in front of her protectively and slid slowly towards Cake.

    (Quick post

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase][sup]cake saw her chance to take down this enderman after murp jumped away. cake took out her diamond sword quickly, and leaped towards the enderman putting her sword straight through the mob and landed on the ground untouched. cake stood up and brushed herself off as she looked over at murp with an exhausted sigh. "you okay? oh- here's this back." cake slid murp's bow back over to her along with some arrows as well. "you might need those considering our guests are coming soon.."
cake turned her gaze back over to the stampede of enderman heading this way and took a deep breath in and exclaimed, "this is gonna be fun, ey murp! let's go!" then began to charge towards them with her sword swinging behind her.

    ((on my phone))

  • Murp slowly put her arms down, eyes wide. "Yeah, fine." she said, taking the bow. Her legs were shaking, and she hoped she wouldn't trip. She saw the endermen and froze in terror. "F-fun... Sure..." Murp wanted to run, but instead, she grabbed an arrow raised her bow. When was the last time she used a bow? She turned sideways, left foot in front, and took aim.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase][sup]
cake took a quick glance over her shoulder back at murp as she continued to run towards the enderman. seeing that she was ready to shoot put a smile onto her face while she focused her gaze back upon the endermen. finally the clash came and her sword began to swing uncontrollably. the enderman began to throw the blocks they picked up at cake, which knocked her down quickly considering how much force they used, but as they kept doing it, cake began to see a pattern. she ducked and leaned back, dodging all the thrown objects by only a few inches. "duck, swing. duck, swing." she repeated while she continually dodged the blocks, but once she got the perfect moment, she launched herself up and over the blocks being thrown to the ground and jumped at the enderman, slashing two of them into two immediately. others began to hiss after seeing this and became outraged, but some teleported behind her to see if they could get her from behind while being distracted from the front.

while cake was busy with the first group of endermen, others made their way around her and began to head for murp, who only had a bow. hissing escaped from their enlarged mouths as they approached her quicker, and once they got to that perfect distance, they disappeared and reappeared behind the player with the blocks in their hands. seeing that they were unseen still, they began to rise the blocks higher, preparing to hurl the blocks onto murp.

  • Murp froze for a moment as she saw the approaching endermen. Then, she aimed and fired at the nearest one. It was a hit, but the enderman teleported away. That would've made it neutral again, right? she thought, hoping that was true. Endermen did that, didn't they? Then, she realized that a swarm was approaching. She knew she wouldn't be able to fend them off, and started shooting random, rapid fires.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase][sup]
cake hurled herself at the endermen who caught her and threw her back forcefully, but while in the air, cake hummed her sword back at them, only managing to pierce two endermen and kill them off, leaving one remaining. she fell to the ground with a thud, but pushed herself back up to retrieve her sword quickly, not realizing what would happen next. she froze after seeing what happened. the last enderman had tossed her sword away from them. unfortunately, the sword fell into a lava pit after falling into a hole it was thrown into. a sizzling echo surged through the hallways. there was silence for a few moments, with allowed anger build up in cake. 'my- my sword. all that work just down the drain!'
using that anger, cake ran at the endermen and jumped once more, punching it with wall her strength. the endermen took a few minutes to recover from those powerful hits. a small smile stretched across her face as she leapt again, but the enderman was quicker and flung its arms at her, hitting her directly and hurled her into the mineshaft walls. a crater was created because of the force of the hit. "Hnng.." she muttered after finally feeling the aftermath of being whacked around. cake struggled out from the blocks that had fallen around and on her to face her enemy once more. she was hoping she had one more thing in her inventory that could be useful in a time like this, and luckly - there was a iron axe left.
she smiled evilly and charged at it again with a small limp. once close enough, she swung and struck it with a large force, making an explosion where it once stood. as the entities settled, the enderman appeared to be gone. cake collapsed to the ground in a sitting position. she was dizzy after this event and wasn't thinking about the mess murp could be in at this moment.
hehe, so epic but it's only one enderman cx

  • Meanwhile, Murp's crazy arrow shooting had managed to drive off three endermen. One was left. This time, Murp aimed and then released the arrow. She was expecting to see the arrow hit the endermen, but nothing happened. She figured she had just missed, but then noticed that she hadn't seen anything streaking in that general direction. That's when she realized that she was out of arrows. Her arm dropped to her side and she began backing away from the quickly approaching enderman. Murp's back hit against cold, hard stone. She was trapped.

The enderman was getting closer and closer. Murp slipped to her right, but found stone there as well. The melon closed her eyes and waited for the enderman to grab her. That's when she heard a hiss. She opened her eyes to see a creeper standing beside her and flashing. With a yelp, she automatically leaped forward, slipping behind the thin enderman as the creeper exploded behind her. The blast from the explosion made her loose her balance and fall forwards, receiving scratches as she hit the rough ground. Behind her, Murp heard the scream of the enderman dying away.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase][sup]
cake finally came back into the world after hearing the creeper explosion echo through the cave from the other side of the hall where murp was. 'oh no. murp!' she thought to herself as she struggled to her feet and began to run to her friend who was lying on the ground. cake stumbled a few times due to the aches and pains in her legs, but it didn't stop her determination to aid her friend. "m-murp?" she called out. the echo in the cave would project her voice, so it would be the same as talking to her face to face.
the closer she got, the more she saw of the crater left in the ground and the tile drops around it. finally, she reached murp and crouched down beside her. "are you okay? are you hu-" a cough rose from her mouth, but she continued, "are you hurt in any way?"

  • "Fine. I-i'm fine." Murp replied, pushing herself up on shaking arms. "Just some scratches and bruises. Are you okay?" she asked, turning over and sitting up so she could look at Cake. She frowned. "You look pretty bad. Should we rest for a bit?" Murp asked, wanting a quick rest to recover. Her heart was still racing, but beginning to slow, and she ached all over. The pain was strongest in the front side of her body and starting to fade from the back. She noticed a scratch bleeding on her knee and her head was throbbing. A quick rest would be nice.
