Background on the school: Fukui Academy is a very poor, low-budget school with a lot of rude, uneducated students. It is a well known school that people dread to attend. The students there are either too poor for other schools... or are just too lazy to go farther for a good education. The teachers there don't care about schooling, they teach there only to pass time or earn money for their families.
More depth on the students: Most of them are dirty, rude, and uneducated. A lot of them have terrible grades. There is a lot of crime and illegal things going on in and around the school. But, there is a group of students who attend Fukui Academy who actually care about their grades and how the present themselves. They attend Fukui Academy in hopes that they can bring the school up in the academic program. This group of students are called "The Prudes", at least the other students call them that. Their real names are "The Study Cats". The leader of TSC really loves cats... One last thing, when you have good grades, you're casted into TSC. They'll approach you and ask you to join.

Personality: She's is a total "people person". Nibutani is always kind and nice to everyone she meets. She is the founder of TSC (therefore, she loves cats). She always has the top grades, no matter what subject! If anyone ever has a problem, they always come to her for the solution.
Grade and age (high school, 14-18): Grade- 11th. Age- 16 (almost 17).
Background: She comes from a middle-class family. She's neither rich, nor poor. Nibu has the manners of an upper-class woman, though.

Personality: He's never very happy. He usually just walks around the school with a messy uniform and a small, black, leather notebook. If there was a "type of person" to describe him as, I'd say he's be emo. Most of the girls attending Fukui Academy have crushes on him and adore his mysterious personality. If anyone confesses their feelings towards Akio, he quickly turns them down and continues on his way. He too has very good grades.
Grade and age (high school, 14-18): Grade- 11th. Age- 17.
Background: He comes from a poor family. They live very close to Fukui Academy.
Part of TSC (or not): Yes, due to his good grades.
