  • Gothitelle leaned in and pressed his forehead against the hero's, linking their minds together and using Calm Mind, sharing the peace of the move with the trainer and hopefully calming her dreams.
"Of course," Zinzolin said, closing his eyes. "You have to protect her, though. Pokémon are allowed to do anything they must to protect their trainers, even from themselves. If you think she's gone to far, use whatever you have to pull her back."

  • Ooh, I have an idea!

Dusk's iPhone, which Kirlia had snatched up, started ringing loudly and Kirlia just stared at it. It was Dusk's so-called aunt named Aria. Zeke, Dusk's best friend, had been watching the supposed family member and had somehow gotten Aria's phone and was now using it. Celeste placed it gently on the floor and stepped back, as if expecting a hollogram of some sort.

  • For a minute the phone just buzzed, a tinny little voice coming out, before Gothitelle went to investigate. He knew phones well enough, but Apple was not his best field. He figured it out though, and put it on speakerphone..
Zinzolin had jumped a few feet at the sudden ringing. Concordia and Anthea still weren't done laughing at him and his rather priceless facial expressions, but he shushed them to hear the phone.

  • "Oi! Dusk, are ya there? It's Z. Hello?"Ezekiel said, taking the phone away from his ear a moment to see if the call had disconnected.
Celeste curiously went up and nudged it with her foot, letting out a small squeal when Zeke heard and yelled, "Dusk!"

  • "Yes, hello, Dusk is here but she is asleep," Concordia said, figuring it would be better for a concerned friend to hear a pretty, nice-sounding woman that an older gentleman or a really manly girl. "Is there something you want me to tell her when she wakes up?"
Gothitelle leaned over and patted Celest on the head, smiling.

  • Celeste ducked her head, looking embarrassed as she crossed her tiny arms in front of her chest.
Zeke growled. "Is she okay? Nevermind, I need you to tell her Aria really is her aunt. I was going through some old picture albums of Dusk's and found photos of Lilac and Aria together. Wow, Lilac looks just like Dusk. Er, Dusk looks like Lilac when she was younger. You get my drift? Part of me says you're probably looking at the phone right now, thinking I'm crazy. But, ah well. I have to go. I kinda borrowed Aria's phone without permission and don't really plan on giving it back unless she proves she's worthy. Uhm, okay. Tell Dusk I said she's my new bae and I miss 'er. Kay, bye."said the boy before hurriedly hanging up.

  • "What's a bae," Zinzolin asked no-one in particular.
"Alright," Concordia said. "I'll tell her." That sounded like a frenzied crush of Dusk's, if she knew what a hopelessly drooling crush sounded like, which she did.
"So, what does anyone make of that? Is a distant aunt even important? You know anything about this Aria lady, Ralts?" Anthea asked, looking at Celest curiously.

  • Celeste looked kinda offended at the name she had gotten called for she was most clearly a Kirlia but she moved her head in a sign of no. She didn't know anything. She rubbed her arms suddenly, shivering. Was it cold in here or was it just her?
"Bae means Before Anyone Else,"came a voice. The ones who turned would see a middle aged woman, about thirty, coming closer to them. She had a tan complexion with high cheekbones and a slender nose below long eyelashes. She looked very similar to Dusk."You all are probably very pleased to see me, the pleasure's all mine. I am indeed Dusk's mother, Lilac. I have come bearing a message. Two, actually. One is my gratitude for taking care of my baby. The other is not so joyous. Dark times are coming. Gather your forces and prepare yourselves. If you do not,"Lilac leaned down and kissed Dusk's cold forehead and a look of pure anguish passed over it as she gazed at her only child,"Well, let's not focus on that. Just. . .heed my words and tread carefully. I must go now, my strength is ebbing."she finished, already becoming more transparent until she was gone altogether.
