  • David was a normal kid though he had a gift he could play basket ball like no other. He was 12 years old when he played basketball for the last time. He played community basketball with boys and girls his age for five years and he was really good. He could have become a pro and everyone knew it.

He had a great personality everyone liked him. His parents were awesome they loved him and he loved them. He had a best friend and his first girlfriend with his first kiss who was also in his team. She was everything to him.

They're basketball team sucked too though it was only because David let everyone on his team play too. Not wanting him to be a one man team. He wanted everyone to have fun.

David or Davy as everyone called him than it was the last night of Hanukkah and they were losing by ten points. And everyone wanted to win for they're parents cause even though they always lose they're parents still come to support them. So they all allowed Davy to make the shots. Davy's parents though weren't at the game he had no idea why they weren't there yet when the game was almost over. They ended up winning the game thanks to Davy.

Though Davy's parents never made it to the game they died and the only thing the cops could give him was a card they were going to give him. David after that game changed he became bitter and hateful. He stopped playing basketball he went from foster home to foster home started drinking at a young age. He never cried or showed any emotion to his parents death. And stopped dating his best friend even talking to her. Since that day he hated the holidays the most and he wanted everyone to feel as awful as he did.

Now David's 28 years old he's the town asshole. He drinks and acts like a jerk. No one likes him or wants anything to do with him. All he does is gets drunk. Been that way for years. He has nothing to show for it. Though when he has only one last shot to get his act together or he'd got to the slammer for no short than ten years. Though he's heard his old best friend has come back to town with her kid, wasn't sure why but it's been 13 years since he last saw her so he has no idea what she looks like any more. And he wants nothing to do with her.

He walked the streets of Oaksberry a small town where everyone knew everyone and no one had any privacy. He had a bottle of beer wrapped in a paper bag as he took a swing from it. He burped and wiped his mouth with his sleeve a couple glared at him as he walked by. He was heading towards the skate rink where he normally stayed to sit and watch everyone he hate everyone though he could never stop watching how everyone was having fun and enjoying themselves.

    This describes Davy

Your character will be his best friend when she was 15-16 she movies away got married and what a son he should be the same age as Davy when his parents died. Now she's discussed with how David turned out and hates him and hated how he just shuts everyone out and not let his feeling come out. She should be around 28-29

  • - Calypso ♡ Trinity ♡ Blair -
    - may I join? also, if her child is 12, then she would have had her child at age 16, right?

  • -Okay, that makes a little more sense! should I just jump in at the skate rink?-

  • Calypso sat on one of the benches that sat around the skating rink. Her black hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and wore a black skater skirt, which was kind of ironic, and a maroon red colored sweater. There was an added belt, and she wore black stockings with a little special print and black sneakers. But she wasn't wearing her sneakers anymore, instead she was leaning over on the bench, tying the laces of the white ice skates. She glanced up, looking at the little 8 year old boy with the shaggy brown hair, her son, Collin. His fingers gripped the railing that ran along the edge of the ice rink, still testing out his skates in the new rink. Calypso stood up, holding onto the back of the bench to try and keep her balance on the blades of her skates.

  • He watched as people men women kids skated around. They all laughed and smiled holding hands racing it was gross. He hated people who were happy like this mostly during the holidays. They seemed like everything was perfect around this time. He stood put putting on his own skates thinking he should make some fun out of this. He watched a boy who couldn't seemed to skate right as he held on to the railing. He took another swing of his drink before putting it down next to his shoes before starting for the rink.

  • Calypso sat back down and picked up her shoes and shoved them into her backpack that she had brought with her. She stood up, holding onto the back of the bench again to keep herself balanced and slowly moved towards the entrance to the ice skating rink. She glanced up, trying to make sure that she wouldn't bump into anyone as she made her way there. She noticed a guy, he looked familiar with dark brown hair and his figure, but she couldn't place a name with the face. Finally, she made it to the entrance, and opened he gate. She stepped onto the ice and pushed herself towards the little child with the brown shaggy hair who was still holding onto the railing.

  • He felt like someone was staring at him but he was use to that people always stared at him. He looked around till he saw a girl staring at him he huffed and quickly looked away women always stared well mostly glared t him. He got in and zoomed passed her and her son a grin on his face. "Coming though!" He laughed pretty buzzed from the booze. Knocking over couples and people smiling going around the rink acting like an ass

  • Calypso looked at the guy as he rolled pass, causing her to just roll her eyes. She caught up with Collin, and grabbed his hand. "Okay, ready? You're going to let go of the railing, and we're going to skate, okay? Just, watch out for the dude going around the rink like a maniac. " She said, referring to David, though she didn't know that it was him. Collin slowly uncurled his fingers off of the cold metal railing and slowly start to skate forward slowly. A grin crossed his face as he realized he was skating by himself. Well, minus Calypso helping him keep balance. She smiled, as she watched the happiness cross his face. Something she hadn't seen a while.

  • He laughed and skated around knocking everyone so was holding hands he never really touched the kids though he hit all te parents or couples. They would fall or trip he was enjoying himself. He was able to go around a dozon times before there was only her and her son left he hasn't touch. So he went almost at full speed towards them a goofy grin on his lips he was though starting to trip over nothing from the alcohol starting to really mess with his head.

  • Calypso glanced behind her, noticing that most of the other people on the lake had been knocked over by the idiot who was circling the rink. " Collin, grab onto the railing for me. " He nodded, though her frowned as he gripped the metal bar again. She glanced back at the guy. He seemed drunk, and most definitely tipsy. She rolled her eyes and sped up the pace of her skating. Collin held on tight to the railing, slowly skating forward with not much progress forward.

  • His eyes narrowed as the boy held the railing and the girl sped up he tried to go after though his feet wasn't going fast like his mind was and missed place his foot making him fall to the grown and slide along the ice. He laughed his eyes closed he wanted more of his boozes to numb the pain of remember him and his parents coming here.

  • Calypso glanced backwards and turned around on the tip of her blade. I twas probably bad for the skate rink, but she wasn't thinking about the rink at the moment. She skated back to the guy who had fallen down, kneeling down as she skated over. She dug the front toe of the skate's blade into the rink to slow herself down as she got closer to the guy. " Maybe you should get off the rink, and maybe sober up a little. " She said, looking at the guy. He looked so familiar to her, but she couldn't place her mind on it. " D-do I happen to know you? " She asked, tilting her head slightly as she looked at him.

  • He opened one eye as she spoke,"maybe you should go suck one," he said laughing as he opened the other eye pulling a flask out of his pocket and taking a sip from it. He was surprised by her words and how she didn't know him everyone knew the ass of the town. He burped in her face,"of course I'm the one who fucks everyone's holiday," he laughed again

  • Calypso rolled her eyes and stood up, somehow keeping her balance as she did. " Maybe this is why everyone hates you. " She said with a shrug as she skated over to her son." Just a thought. " She said as she took the kids hand and pulled him back out of the rink. They walked over to the bench and untied their skates, and pulled on their shoes, hanging the tied laces over their shoulders, the skates hanging on their shoulders.

  • He huffed and sat up,"well I don't care what they think!" He yelled at her annoyed and angry now as he stood up tripping and falling back down before trying to stand again before headin out not able to skate anymore. A woman walked over to calypso and her son. "Don't min him deary," the old woman said ,"that man has been going down hill for years," she said shaking her head,"a nice boy when he was young, after the accident it was awful," said the woman. The old lady was David's neighbor when he lived in his old home when his parents were alive. Her name was mrs thomes everyone knew here cause since she moved here 30 years ago she bakes cookies and pies for everyone with no charge.

  • Calypso glanced up at the lady in front of her. " Oh, you're Mrs. Thomes. You were my best friend's neighbor! " She said with a smile, though she still couldn't figure out where she remembered the guy on the ice rink from. " You always made the yummiest pies! " She said with smile. " I don't know if you remember me but, I'm Calypso, Cal back when I lived here though. And uh, this is my son, Collin. " She said, glancing down at her son. He gave the lady a smile, but he didn't really know what else to do besides just stand there. " I moved back when I was 15, or maybe it was 16.But, I don't know if anyone remembers me though, is was kind of long ago. "

  • "Oh cal!" She yelled out happily her eyes sparkles a she remembered he. She pulled her into a tight hugged. "I've missed you so much you've become so beautiful!" She said happily as she pulled alway to look her over than she leaned down and looked at her son,"and he's so handsome!" She said giggled you could tell she really did miss her. "Oh I just wished Davy turned out like you happy with a family," she sai with a sigh. She talked fast

  • Calypso's smile flattered at the mention of David's name. It was still quite a sore subject for her. " W-what ever happened to David anyway? W-we stopped talking, and I kind of never heard from him again. " She said, frowning slightly. Collin held onto his mother's leg, glancing up at her as she talked.
