    Princess Emily


    I sit on my balcony, watching the sunset. The kingdom has had pre marriage excitement. My brother was to wed the princess of Helena . I knew it would be my time soon.

    kenta was outside the castle walls. he was a knight...well, was. it was hard to be loyal to a kingdom that hates your guts and considers you an outsider. he had passed the knights training and technicaly was knighted but, didn't go through formal rite. he was from Symphonia. either way, he was starting to become a mercenary because he didn't feel wanted anywhere else.

    I look down and see people. They look like tiny dots from the height I'm at. I see some chatting with others. Then I see a people running and singing together. I Wish I had a friend like that , one who knows all my secrets, and knows what I would say to certain comments. But not such a thing exists for me.

    kenta exhaled as he ewent inside the castle to watch the recruits training. he did this to both make contacts and learn weakness's, strengths and new moves and strategies.

    I decided to go down to the training area. Bored, I was. I enjoyed watching the knights battle and mess around. And they were always tying to impress me but messing up, it would be funny for me.

    he leaned against the wall to watch the practice bouts. one of the generals went up to him and said, "aren't you a symphonia knight? shouldn''t you be back at your own land."


    kenta said, "i'm not a knight...and i'm not working for symphonia."

    I watched the knights train, some trying to be boastful and making clumsy mistakes. I laugh. I turn around and walk to the barn, I wanted to see my horse, and maybe ride him. ( she turns in the direction of kenta)

    kenta said to the knight general he was talking to, "i see your recruits aren't as grand as they boast...it looks like they couldn't beat a goblin."


    the general laughed, "not yet sir kenta, i plan on whipping them into shape."


    he said, "i keep telling you, i'm not a knight..."

    An arrow comes my way, I dodge it and look sternly at the shooter, he ran away, scared that I would have him beheaded for his mistake. I keep walking and I see the general talking to a young man," general, I would like to tell you that one of your 'kinghts' has shot an arrow wrongly and almost hit me. Honestly, I could of shot better than him. Please take note of this and work on that with them, because next time I migHt not be able to dodge it." I say trying to hold back my anger. These were KNIGHTS and they can't even shoot a bow and arrow right. What does that say about our kingdom? That we are weak.

    the general said, "y-yes princess..."


    kenta said, "see what i mean general, your recruits are weak...even one of the Harmonian rookies could beat them." he seemed more relaxed as he leaned against the wall with his bag on the ground next to him.

    kenta said, "anyone could beat harmonian rookies..." he looked at her with strength and dignity. you could see that he didn't really care if she was a princess or not. he grabbed his stuff and started to walk away to the market.

    " that's a little rude to just walk away ya know? " i said with some sass in my voice that usually a princess doesn't speak with. I had my hand on my hip.

    Anger flared up in me. Grabbed a throwing knife and threw it a him, it flew past his ear. I didn't want to hit him I missed on purpose." Next time. I WONT miss." I say. The general has seen me like this, he tried to calm me down but it didn't work.

    he looked at her with one eye, "anger doesn't look good on you. besiedes, i don't take orders or bow to anyone that hasn't earned my respect or trust."

    " I don't want you to bow down to me. And honestly I don't care if anger doesn't look good on me. It's only cause of this stupid poofy dress. " I say calmer. Then I pull of half of the tail, which leaves the skirt at knees length." Well, that's better, this idiotic thing has been catching on everything.." Few knight whistled because a proper princess was always supposed to have floor length dresses around men. I fricken don't care either. I can move which pleases me enough.

    " ooh some people make me wanna slap dem so hard." I say turning around and storming off to my room. I slam the door and start to cry, reason A: I cry when I get really mad reason B: I had yet again messed up. Just making myself seem like a vain person.
