    I walked into school when u saw Emily in her locker "hiya emmy!!!" I said calling Emily by that childhood nickname I gave to her when we were kids

    I got out of my car and headed into school ,I hear houlwing and whispering,with some girls giggling.
    I rolled my eyes "girls do this everyday" I thought in my head

    that's freaky. my childhood name was emmy. ( Emily's my actual name.)))


    " hey!" I say fiddling with my lock. me and Penelope have been friends forever. its just ive also had a crush on her brother ryan forever too. I could never speak around him because I was so scared. dang. ima be forever alone. well, im ok with that.

    "So what up,there my bother,all the girls just love him..." I chckeld then got serious "you don't like if do you?"
    Ryan
    "Um...so I be here right now if your talking about that penelope ?

    I laugh awkwardly. i didnt want either of them to know i liked ryan.“uhh. no. i dont like him.” i say qietly to penelope.i see other girls staring at us.

    Penelope "k!!!,just makeing sure"

    "Ok,girls nothing to see here ,just my sister and her geeky friend!"
    Some is the girls turn around "sorry for that"

    i feel hurt by his comment. did he know that his sisters "geeky friend" was secretly in love with him? gosh. ill never have a chance.

    "Geeky firned ,seriously?!"

    "Soorry" I walked away ,saying bye I saw my buddies messing with some girl "guys leave her alone"
    My buddies "fine!" Said sky ,"gosh,you can be such a party pooper,Ryan" said Shaun
    I rolled my eyes

    I quietly fix my hair because it is sticking out of the braid. I'm embarrassed and I just wanna go home. I wish he showed some kind of friendliness to me. But I've never experienced that.

    "Oh,yeah" I hear someone say "so,penny and Emmy,got dates for the prom?"
    I shook my head and look up to see crystal and her little firneds ,the most poulwr girls in the entire school
    "Hahaha!!!,like the only one who can get a date is Penelope,and not geeky Emmy,cause no ones likes a nerd!!!"
    Crystal and her firneds laughed "hey,stut up!"

    The class looked at me "just leave my sister and her best friend alone ,cause no one messes with little sister"
    Crystal and her firneds move for. Their seats ,our teacher,finally walked into classroom
    "Alright ,now let take attendance " our teacher said

    Cuz no one messes with my little sister. Yeah. But they can mess with me. I think sadly. I was blushing with embarrassment. It was like this every day. People think I would be used to it by now. But every time, it chips away at my hope. I pull my jacket over where I cut myself. I don't want them to see it.

    I saw Emily pulled over a jacket "werid,it's not cold in here"I thought

    Ok when I said little sister I mean it no one messes with her!. I thought
    But Emily ,I not really sure. Is it wrong for a popularity to care about his sited when her best friend is the one to worried the most about?.

    I plug my head phones in and start to listen to a bunch of songs that make me feel happy when I'm sad. But they aren't working. I'm glad the teacher let you listen to music if your still paying attention.

    I saw Emily with headphones In "poor Emmy" I said looking at her "Penelope?,what wasthe last thing g I said I turned around "oh,sorry!!,your were talking about how biodiversity affects a enivronmet right?"
    The teacher nodded "see out of his whole classroom ,I only have three students who payed attention "right Penelope" I nodded ,"Ryan?,Emily? You told payed attention right
