    ~Sunflower~

    Sunflower let out a yawn as she emerged from the queens' den. Her beautiful, iridescent symbol glimmered in the sunlight as she snatched a plump squirrel. Picking a spot is the shade of an aspen tree, she slowly bit into the delicious mouse.

    ~Mintkit~

    Mintkit, sleeping peacefully in the nursery, didn't make much noise. Of course, since he was an early-riser, he opened his eyes and blinked hard. Although he said nothing, his mind was filled with thoughts of loudness and his sister. His mint leaf symbol was dull, matching the leaves as it had since he was born.

    ~Moonkit~

    Moonkit, the more rambunctious one, was dreaming about hunting in the forest. She had a mouse in her sights, and snapped its neck. "YES!" she yelled in her sleep as Mintkit prodded her awake. "Wha-" Her glowing symbol, a crescent moon, was dull in the sunlight.

  • Flamefoot's tail was curled over his nose, lthough he was in a dreamless sleep, he felt content in laying there for awhile. But his wistful thinking was ended by a paw continuously prodding him in his side. Emmiting a grumpy growl he moved over in his nest, his ears flattening against his skull. The poking briefly stopped for a few seconds, letting the ginger warrior relax and let out a snooze before a hard jab to his skull forced his amber eyes to open as he leaped up to his paws and whirled around to face his brother snapping, "What do you want?" Swooptalon's eyes narrowed as he said simply, "Just get up, I'm about to send the patrols out." Flamefoot sighed, tail drooping, "It was such a good dream too..."

    ::TurtleMask::

    Turtlemask shook her her speckled dermis. Moss flew out to the perimeter of the den, causing it to look messy. Turtlemask sat up right and looked out at the den with her emerald eyes. She cocked her apex to one side of her head and flicked her audits. She curled her banner around her haunches and groomed her appendages. Her green chasms glittered as she padded out of the den. Sunlight blinded the she-cat for several moments. The spotted femme looked around and saw Flamefoot with his companion. She snook off into the woods to hunt by herself.

  • BoldHeart opened his eyes, hearing the slight squabble between the two brothers, before the tom decided that he too should get up. The long-legged tan tom stretched out each of his long legs in turn, before getting to his paws, and looking at his cousin, who normally waited till everyone else was out of the den before she too would get up. BoldHeart huffed, looking proudly at the symbol of a heart on his shoulder before he silently left the den. Licking one tuft of short, out of place fur to his skin, the friendly tom approached SunFlower, and purred softly a greeting to the queen. "Good morning SunFlower. How are you this morning?" The young warrior asked in a happy tone. He was always happy, and friendly.
    -

    GentleDove flattened her ears to her head as the slight sense of comfort she felt left her like a fleeting weasel, the grey she-cat opened a dull olive eye into the darkness of the den. She didn't want to get up yet, she still felt numb all over from the dream she had been having. The thick-furred she-cat could feel the sleep, and dreams ripping themselves from her pelt, and paws. Raising her rounded head slowly, and looking around. Tiny ears perked atop her head, before GentleDove rolled over onto her stomach, and tiny paws, and lifting herself to her full, stocky height. Shaking herself roughly to make her fur lay flat, and get all of the bedding from her fur, the she-cat paused, before daring to exit the den, and enter the camp. Flattening her ears as she looked around. Hoping that the louder cats would leave her be this morning, and let her wake up peacefully instead of to a heart-attack.

    Sunflower

    Sunflower, finishing her squirrel, said a polite "Good, and good morning to you, Boldheart," before she went inside the nursery with a mouse for her kits. "Good morning, she smiled quietly as not to disturb anyone. She dropped the mouse on the group and nudged Moonkit up and out of the nearly-destroyed moss she had been resting on. "Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, sweetie."

    Mintkit

    Mintkit, giggling a few times as his sister refused to get up. He bit the mouse in half, nudging one half over with his paw and gobbling down the rest. Laughing at his mother's comment, he bounced out the nursery entrance.

    Moonpaw

    Moonpaw's refusal to awaken may have caused many annoying comments from her mother, but a few extra minutes of sleep couldn't hurt, right? Wrong. Trying to sleep in just caused more prods from her now-impatient mother. "Ugh," she moaned, finally getting up on her paws. She rested on her haunches and gulped down the mouse.

    Melodicpaw

    Melodicpaw, earlier asleep in the apprentice den, was awake and bouncing around camp. He didn't care if they were going hunting, patrolling, or staying in camp. He just needed something to do.

    =+=

  • Swooptalon's green eyes looked throughly annoyed at his brother's lazy behavoir, but of course he kept his mouth shut not wanting to get in an arguement with the younger hot-headed tom. Besides, it seems like a peaceful day today, its not worth getting annoyed. Though by nature, Swooptalon was always an early riser while Flamefoot on the other hand was not, different traits and completely opposite personalities. With his long tail twitching, the tall cat moved close to the camp entrance, almost ready to send out patrols, although he spotted the illusive pelt of Turtlemask as she had gone off hunting by herself, he didn't bother to send out any cats to follow her. Everyone needed some alone time, so he was perfectly fine with it. Gaze scanning the camp briefly, the only warriors left were Boldheart, Gentledove, and Flamefoot, but then again this made him uncertain, he didn't want to leave the camp unprotected so he finally made a decision.

    Flamefoot's maw gaped in a large yawn as he moved with heavy paws over to Swooptalon. It was often that he got irritated at his half-brother's seriousness, sometimes it was overbearing, especially when it interjected into his sleep. He noticed the pondering look on Swooptalon's face and asked with impatience, "What? Don't tell me you've waken me up for nothing." This earned him a sharp glare from his brother's green eyes which annoyed him further, if he was going to send patrols then send them out, there was no use in waiting was there? Swooptalon finally spoke, "Well I suppose we should split it up into one hunting patrol and a border patrol." Flamefoot snorted, "Then do it, we don't have all sunlight to wait for you to make a decision." Another sharp glare was received, but frankly by now the ginger warrior was brimming with impaitence, "Well? What are you going to do?" Swooptalon considered it for a few moments then said with finality, "You and Boldheart on the border patrol and Gentledove and I on the hunting patrol." Flamefoot snorted, "Finally." He caught another sharp glare from Swooptalon as the tom had stood up now as well. Truthfully, Flamefoot was well aware of Gentledove's strange phobia around loud noises and well, cats, probably that was why his brother split up the patrols, although he didn't care. He was in too much of a bad mood at the moment to be patient or even bother hunting, so it was fair to say he was pleased.

  • (Sure BoldHeart could mentor MelodicPaw! I like all the characters already. >///<)

    BoldHeart quickly walked over to his cousin when he saw she had finally gotten out of the den. "good morning." he mewed, keeping in mind that being too loud would cause the she-cat to probably bolt back into the den, and wait for the others to leave. "How do you feel?" he asked settling down next to the she-cat, and lightly head-butting her on the shoulder. "Fine, why would you ask?" the more higher, squeakier, uncertain tone of the grey she-cat replied. "Just making sure." BoldHeart mewed lightly.Before he stood back up and stretched out his legs. Walking over to the two brothers, he smiled lightly in a friendly way. "So what's the plan for today, if you don't mind me asking?" he asked the deputy in a positive way.
    -
    GentleDove watched her kin leave to talk to the two cats. Settling back down onto her haunches, and letting herself relax as the bold, outgoing tom cat left her to be were she was. The pudgy she-cat looked at her paws, and closed her eyes taking a deep breathe, before looking around the camp silently. The quiet she-cat finally managed to get back to her paws, and walk over to the two cats and flicking an ear. "Uh, so what am I doing today?" GentleDove mewed, curling her tail, and looking at the three toms, feeling slightly nervous around the other cats.

  • Swooptalon responded in a calm voice, "I decided there should be a hunting patrol and a border patrol," He made sure he didn't talk too loud and was keeping a close eye on Flamefoot incase his obnoxious brother decided to cause another ouburst, "On the border patrol, Boldheart, you and Flamefoot would go while Gentledove and I can go on the hunting patrol." His calm green gaze glanced between the three warriors, "Is this alright with all of you?"

    Flamefoot seemed impatient, fidgetting in his place as Swooptalon spoke in his normal tone... it was annoying. Annoying that it was taking longer than what it usually would be. His black tail tip twitched impatiently as he curtly nodded his head, since at the moment, even if he was annoyed he didn't want to startle Gentledove. So, he stook to glaring impatiently at his brother who steadfastly ignored him.

  • BoldHeart nodded shortly. "That sounds like a good idea to me." the tan tom agreed, before looking at the she-cat, who he had been an apprentice with. "What do you think, GentleDove?" the warrior asked, the she-cat, who blinked. "I thinks it is a good plan." she agreed, lightly. BoldHeart smiled broadly before looking at Flamefoot. "I'll get my apprentice, and then we can go scratch up anycat who dares to treed on our land." the tan tom mewed, noticing that the cat was quite impatient, and seemed to want to leave right then. "MelodicPaw!" the warrior exclaimed, seeing GentleDove inch away from him. "sorry." he quickly apologized. Looking at SwoopTalon he smiled. "By the way she has a tendency to 'get lost' so you might wanna keep an eye on her." BoldHeart said in a friendly tone.
    -

    GentleDove blinked at the others, also quite impatient to get going, and be out of this place. Normally she would already be out exploring and hunting! "Can we leave?" the she-cat ventured to ask SwoopTalon, the grey she was kneading the ground with anticipation. How she hated... wait not that word... disliked being within the camp, she felt like a caged animal in here, and the sooner she got up, the better she would feel. How ready she was to just be out in the place beyond, and be hunting was even better!

    ~Sunflower~

    Sunflower, now encouraging Moonkit to run along and play, wished she was a warrior again. There was so much she wanted to do, but the camp was confining her. She lay, restlessly, in the nursery.

    ~Mintkit~

    Mintkit, out and excited to be alive, was playing with an old leaf. He batted at it with his soft kit paws, barely able to hide the excitement he got from doing this.

    ~Moonkit~

    Moonkit, letting out a yawn and a huff, exited the nursery. She found the earlier-occupied aspen tree's shade comforting as she climbed it to find a branch to rest on. While she dozed off, the shade made her symbol give of a dim light.

    ~Melodicpaw~

    Melodicpaw, hearing his mentor's call, rushed over immediantly. "Yes?" he asked quietly. His tangerine paws scraped the ground as he waited for a reply.

    =+=

  • Swooptalon dipped his head, "Of course," The tabby warrior smiled evenly, then he began to walk towards the camp entrance, but he did keep his pace somewhat shortened for the gray she-cat to keep up, since he was long-limbed and had a leaner, and taller build than that of his brother.

    Flamefoot's gaze turned towards Melodicpaw and said impatiently before Boldheart could reply, "Your mentor wants you to come along on a border patrol with us." The ginger tabby's ear flicked as his tail twitched back and forth.

    ::TurtleMask::

    Turtlemask ventured in the forest and whiffed the air with her nostrils. Tendrils of Spanish moss hung over the spotted feline. Her sienna, ebony spotted pelt blended in with the back ground, very well. She perked her audits as if she heard something. A starling! Turtlemask found a starling in the middle of debris and prodded it with her paw. It was a lovely starling. She spared the birds life and coaxed it to fly. The starling cocked its wonderful apex in confusion. Turtlemask grinned. "I'm gonna name you Kerion!" she declared, crouching down to eye length. Then she left the bird and went deeper into the woods. She perked up again, angling her ears to the front rim. A rodent! She crouched down, her tail still. She focused on the rodent, nibbling on grass seeds. She extended her haunches and pounced, flying in the air, and pouncing on the mouse immediately. The mouse was barely updated on the attack that it died. Turtlemask gave thanks to Star Clan and returned to camp.
    •••
    She returned to camp, seeing Flamefoot being bothered by Swooptalon, she padded over after she left her morsel. "What's going on?" she demanded.

  • Flamefoot's amber eyes turned from Melodicpaw to Turtlemask. He replied simply, "Swooptalon just set up the two patrols, a hunting and a border." His ginger pelt fluffed up briefly as he huffed, "But, it took him forever to do so, he just left a few moments ago." The ginger warrior sniffed indignantly, "Honestly, I think sometimes Swooptalon seems a bit distracted lately."

    ~Melodicpaw~

    Melodicpaw nodded, his indigo music note dull on his chest. He barely contained his excitement and began to hum/sing a tuneless song. Sure, the song made no sense, but he enjoyed singing it all the same.

    TurtleMask huffed. "He was always!" she complained silently to herself. She nodded and bounded away. Her tassel flew in the wind before she settled in her own nest. She curled her banner around herself and napped.

  • BoldHeart shook his head, curling his til before looking between the two cats. "Well we can leave now, so why not?" he mewed, looking at MelodicPaw and smiling at the young cat's enthusiasm. The tan tom was quick to leave the camp, ready to get out almost as much as FlameFoot seemed to be. BoldHeart sniffed the air lightly, smiling to himself as the calm, cool of the forest greeted him like it always did.
    -

    GentleDove practically leaped out of the camp, seeming to gain a good bit of energy as soon as her paws touched the ground outside of camp. She felt once again the wonderful feeling of freedom that she felt restricted of within the camp. Letting her dull olive eyes brighten slightly, she she-cat quickly fallowed after the deputy. But not too quickly, the pudgy she would scramble under roots, and jump over things, obviously wanting to be everywhere at once, and no longer so self conscious of herself. GentleDove found herself slightly stuck over a branch, due to her short legs, stocky nature, and pudgy way, but she took it as a excuse to lay there for a moment, looking around the forest, she knew she must be annoying by now, having been taking her own sweet time. But gosh darnit! She was outside of camp, and she was going to enjoy every last second of it!
    (Sorry for not being on yesterday, I am over at a family members currently.)

  • Swooptalon had stopped in his place, looking towards Gentledove. He felt somewhat amused at how she seemed more lively outside of the camp than when she was inside. But, instead of breaking her concentrationn on the forest around her, he allowed himself to focus upon his surroundings as well. Since being of a tall and lean build, he could cover more distance if he needed to, but keeping his long strides to a minimum had muffled his pawsteps as his gleaming green eyes scanned for prey. He didn't exactly mind being in the forest, it provided a pleasant distraction for him away from the camp's busy air. He did make sure he kept his long tail off of the ground, since the tom always felt annoyed at his long tail which no matter how much he tried to keep the long tail from dragging across the ground, no matter what it always seemed to give away his location, but he had to admit, it did help him change sudden direction when he was chasing hares. As he moved through the grassy land around him, he let the scents bathe his tongue, taking in every detail around him.

    Flamefoot moved out of the camp as well, the broad-shouldered ginger cat moving with more impatience. Almost immediately he caught Swooptalon's scent as soon as he got out into the forest. Moving in the other direction, he moved in quick steps.

    ::TurtleMask::

    TurtleMask nodded, flicking her ears dismissively. She placed her morsel in the fresh-kill pile. She never paid much attention to anything, unless she was doing something. The spotted femmora groomed her appendages, with her banner curled neatly around her haunches. The dusty fae looked at the sky above her, with her luminous jade-colored orbs. She gazed somewhere else, and blinked tiredly.
